I got scared whether Lan connection port is dead or wifi hardware gone 😂. Since it is showing as connected but doesn't connect. Sony TV always has this problem. Also if wifi is Off and TV is on it would never connect (after switching on wifi) . Had this problem ever since I purchased TV. Solution I found was first to turn on modem and only after it establish connection then turn on TV. NOT Sure how is it with new Sony 4k TV s

@@saibalkm first switch on wifi after it gets all signal then switch on TV. It would work. Some sort of bug I guess. Make sure wifi modem is near TV you won't have problem.

Holy shit! I can't believe this was a hidden fix and it WORKED. I spent a long time, luckily not hours trying to figure this out. AndroidTV is a bit glitchy so I had to go to manual time because it would intermittently display the wrong time. After a power outage and rebooting everything, then I get CONNECTED, NO INTERNET! This video fixed the problem and I can't believe it was that simple! What a strange glitch in The Matrix. Thank you for the quick tip! YT is amazing!

One remark: I had to disable and reenable my wifi after changing the Date/Time setting, then it was fixed For those with LAN cable instead of wifi: symptom is TV says LAN is not available although running the network diagnostic (in Network -> Advanced) states all services including internet are fine.

This solution didn't work for me so I tried updating the time manually and it fixed it! 1. Turned off the automatic date and time preference 2. Manually updated the date and time to the current one 3. Turned the automatic date and time toggle back on 4. Turned wifi off and then turned it back on
