Title: Evolution of Philosophy Before Socrates, famous philosophers in Greece preferred to reveal the secrets of life through practical means rather than constructing reality through time-consuming theoretical endeavours. As a result, the period when philosophical debates became centred on pointless ventures of purely theoretical value was an odd interval of time. Unquestionably, for great thinkers like Plato, such an approach could be the first step toward philosophical perfection, but it is far from the final outcome. Thus it covered broad topics such as man's political existence. In this wholesome view, the ultimate goal of philosophy was to achieve quality aspects of life, such as human character.

Unlike pre-socratics, Greeks adopted observational approach rather then practical approach to reveal the mysteries of knowledge.Greek philosophers were extroverts, ; they use to indulge in futile discussions and disputes about the courses of the universe.According to Plato philosophy is full of wisdom which affects various fields of life .However Aristotle's philosophy is complete in all aspects and address practical solution of problems, influencing human mind and personality.

Pre-Socrates: Pragmatic Thinkers Greek philosophers like Parmenides were imaginative, whereas the pre-Socratics were more pragmatic.For instance, Democritus did not indulge in trivial arguments and Thales detested philosophers who were impractical. On the other hand, Anaxagoras evolved the mindset of a politician into a thinker.Old Socrates was occupied in modifying the behavior of the youth and the governments, thereby clearing the courts.For Plato, the study of epistemology became unpleasant with time. His primary interest became pondering about human life and purpose. Finally, in the era of Aristotle, philosophy developed in terms of offering wisdom and scientific answers. Indeed, these men were cognizant of the true meaning of philosophy, which was gaining knowledge and understanding its link with human life.

title The History of Philosophy In Middle Ages philosophers were not only criticized in Greece, but also in other parts of the world. Despite logical arguments, the Greek before Socrates were explored truth through their observation and experience. The philosophers tried to prove that they were not numskulls. The Greek philosopher Democritus was dangerous for scholastics who emphasized middle ages discussions and criticize the reality of external world. Thales condemned those who consider philosophers as stupid people. Anaxagoras who turned a politician into a thinker. The philosophasters were criticized by old Socrates. Plato believed that epistemology was an entrance to philosophy, but his belief did not produce wisdom's lovers. These predecessors broadened their scope of vision as the time passed. They had created their ideal states and thought over man and destiny. Their efforts proved futile and the philosophy of Aristotle was honored in which he had discussed every problem and science. These philosophers are of the view that philosophy and epistemology are not same and the purpose of philosophy is to inquire and gather knowledge of every aspect of human life.
