This episode hit really close to home. I bought RYE after a few good scores in tournaments last year and haven't touched it much mainly because I am busy finishing a degree. Your fitness analogy made me cry/laugh because I do feel like that fat kid who wants to put the effort but feels overwhelmed so he doesn't. I also discovered this channel about 2 weeks ago and went back to your first videos and started from there. We do exist! Thanks for the pod. This episode gave me some info on what direction to take next as an ok poker player that still lacks on certain fundamentals.

Love the idea of a more basic training site but not sure there’s a market as Hunt said. There’s a group of 8-10 of us that play 100nl once or twice a month and only two of us are remotely studied, yet the other half dozen that sit each time are more eager to play than us as are newer to the game and love it. I couldn't ever see any of them paying a thing to improve, they simply watch KZbin content without even an understanding of basic pre ranges. We’re in Australia and casino cash games are near dead unless you can crush 2/5 1k cap. Could be a totally different market in the US but as was said, free is free and actual learning takes more effort which navigates to the more serious audience.
