Great solve! Interestingly, when I first conceived of this puzzle I almost didn't make it because I thought it might be too easy. After all, it's similar to my Tricopter series, but since it's not jumbling I thought it would be much simpler to solve than those. Then I scrambled the puzzle and realized how wrong I was! There is now an FDM version available fully assembled and stickered for $175. I know it's still expensive, but it's a lot better than the DIY kit version. Technically speaking of you google a 4d cube, a hypercube is a common name, you see only the part of it that passes through the 3rd dimension and it's other dimension is one we can't even comprehend!

that thing is amazing. nerds really are amazing, because theres so many kinds, you love solving those puzzles and i wouldnt even know where to begin on figuring anything but a basic cube out, but what i would LOVE to do is make a MACHINE that has rotational grippers over all the rotation axes that could solve it with some coding :P ive seen those robots who just have 6 motor controlled arms sticking out of each face of a cube and solving it in three seconds or less, and this would be really fun to do a robot on, because you have the flat axes for 90 and 180 degree turns along the vertical EDGES of the cube, but 120 degree turns on all the CORNERS meaning not accounting for bandaging and shape shifting, (and assuming you could make a machine that could actually turn it) you would need (if i have counted right) eight different motor controlled rotators to be able to rotate all the axes. i think my favorite move though is the one where you rotate the two corners into a z shape and then rotate the entire face, effectively swapping half the corner with its opposite corner with two moves, something impossible to do without fifteen other set up moves on a regular cube lol

I need help. I learned 3x3 and can solve sub-1 minute with beginner's method but want to move on. I've been thinking about cfop but I wanted to see if there is another method I should learn instead. Help?

I would say check out Roux and CFOP, and see which one you like better. This is a perfect time to debate the two methods, before you get too far into one, where you don't want to change later on.
