I absolutely love how much you let the kids do without help, but with supervision. Its beautiful that you have spoken into their lives in such a way that they feel like they can accomplish these thing together and that they see the value in it so much so that they want to. I know everyday probably isnt like that and real life is a bit messy sometimes but you two give them a great example

When I had chickens I used to let them free range too. Unfortunately they're very smart and they found out exactly where I exited my house. They drop their manure all over my walkway I couldn't step out of the house without Landing in a pile of chicken manure. It didn't take me long to get them back inside a fenced area with lots of greenery scraps and feed to keep them happy.
