This game as a whole is cool and all but there’s too many bits like this that just make it a slog. 2013 and even to a lesser extent Shadow don’t require anywhere as much of a grind.

I wouldn’t say perfectly. Rise imho is the most grindy and has the most slog of the Survivor Trilogy and it’s just too much at times. 2013 and even Shadow aren’t quite as grindy

Agreed. I also despise this part of the game experience. It's not fun to suffer through as a player - nor rewarding when you solve. It also doesn't make sense that a high explosive like Greek fire which the player got to witness a literal minute before can blow massive support beams - but can't nuke a few tree branches.

Another stupid puzzle in the long line of them that is this game. Also I guess their British translater goofed. A *BARREL* is an oblong, wooden container for materials, and such materials may very well be flammable. A *VESSEL* is typically a type of conveyance, such as a waterborne construct, IE a "boat." An "ANCHOR" is a weight that is dropped from said "boats" to secure them in one spot. None of those things (except the barrel) are present here.
