Well the bastion is very old since it was built by ancient builders so it must have suffered from lava and explosions so when the bastion was wrecked all the piglins escaped so that's why it's called bastion remnant

The only reason a warden doesn’t attack an axolotl is because Mojang codes a certain speed for entities to have to make sound. That is why you don’t make any noise when you sneak. The a axolotl is slower than sneaking movement, so it doesn’t make any vibrations.
