Theory:The wardens are made from axolotls judging by their colors when you inverted the picture.The sculk blocks couldn't appear out of nowhere unless the first sculk block was seen by an axolotl.The axolotl probably touched the sculk and since the sculk infects the floor every mob that dies next to it.The axolotl died by a player and later...Turned to a Warden. For the intro before the Axolotl=Warden myth MatPat already discussed them and the reason why the Warden isn't attacking the Axolotl is because of the same reason why they don't attack bunnies/rabbits, it's because they don't make any sound when they walk (or my personal theory is because the Warden was human and the loved rabbits and Axolotls and they'll remember their love for Rabbits and Axolotls forever

@@scephal6464 Yah but it relies on it's hearing not it's nose, I don't think it even has a nose and even if the Warden was to be able to hear them it still wouldn't attack them because I believe that because the rabbits and axolotls are so small the Warden doesn't sense them as a threat and don't go saying "Well what about baby Zombies, Baby Zoglins, Baby Zombified Piglin, and bats?" becasue Bats are to small and quit for it to set off a shreiker let alone cause the Warden to attack it and baby undead mobs are big enouge to trigger shreikers and alert the Warden and they sound like their adult counterpart but just with a higher pitch to their sounds so the Warden will still hear them as their adult counterparts

I already knew axolotls and the Warden are related. Axolotls being like 2 years older. Why 2 years? Because I knew they’d be a couple of years apart. Due to the history about real life axolotls. The Aztecs had a special relationship with axolotls. Keeping them in lakes. As if they were pets. Then axolotls maybe got a decease from the water. Most survived. 100 mutated into being able to walk, get super sensitive to sound and those axolotls going deep into the caves. The decease was the color sculk is. A liquid. 100 axolotls went into the liquid. Spreading the decease by killing others. And the Illagers built those 100 “axolotls” ancient cities. Then those axolotls killed the Illagers due to all the noice they made then fully transformed into wardens. That’s my opinion. Until we get more info, I’m believing that. I believe the Illagers worshipped the Warden. Maybe had an alliance then an Illager killed some Wardens then Wardens wanted to kill everything and everyone except axolotls. I think this is how the Warden is made. He was an out cast iron gollom in the village and soon the villagers got tired of him the soon later kicked him out. He was frustrated and wanted revenge so he went to a cave. After a long time being in the cave he became blind and soon went crazy, going on a rapage, killing all the villagers. He absorbed all the souls of the villagers, he is now satisfied. He went back to the cave and fused with a animals, called a axolotle. Soon he found a mine shaft full of players, he killed them, thinking that the players were like the villagers. He kept the mineshaft as his home and infected the place.

i think warden was iron golem protecting viligers that hide from masive wither that was sumoned by ancient builder when he was experimenting with nether blocks then the warden and his vilage found sculk which like soul sand captured souls of those vilgers and since golems dont have souls the sculk took over wardens body so sonic boom should be screams of those souls on his chest
