Solving problems with the Crown Vic front end, when coyote swapping!

I put a gen 1 coyote in a 64 F100. I used an 01 crown Vic front end. stock 4.6 motor mounts with my own engine mount brackets to slide the engine back 2”. Stock gen 1 mustang headers and they cleared the CV front end no problem. Volvo electric power steering pump, made by Ford LOL

They say for F100 applications, not sure if it will clear the panther platform frame, but I will find out

Don't quote me on this but. If I remember kooks makes a header for the swap as well?

Kooks does make a set but they are not suitable for tight applications a couple of the runners stick out and get in the way in order to try and make them equal length@@LeachimSagrav333

I know some people have used a stock mustang manifold on one side and a truck on the steering shaft side I believe. Also, stainless works is about the only company to make long tubes for panthers anymore. Several guys have them reflanged and go that route.

I'm glued to this swap, I absolutely love the crown swap for F100s. I have a 75 F100 that I'm thinking about coyote swapping, it's got Dream beams, but after doing it not happy, so thinking of crown swapping it, lol great time to do both

The CV front end is a super nice way to put modern brakes and suspension on damn near anything. Kinda the current day Mustang II stuff.

“since no one manufactures long-tube headers for such a swap, we had two options: custom fabricate a set of long-tube headers with 1.875" OD primaries, or reflange the existing Stainless Works long-tube headers with 1.625" OD primaries to work with the Coyote engine. In the end, while it did inhibit our power output slightly, the reflange option was selected as the most feasible at this time”

Have a daily 75 f250 with a Victoria swap done. Best thing in the world for these old trucks. Floats down the highway @100 with no worries.
