something that I realised is that whenever the sign is greater than/ greater or equals to we'll always have two solutions one here x....

That is correct unless the quadratic is -x^2 in which case it will be the other way as the graph will go the other way too.

@@y0wrld724 your critical values would just be fractions, so -5/2 and 2/3 and plot those on the graph = -5/2 < x < 2/3
