SOLVING THE CYLINDER PUZZLE [Best puzzle ever!]

Today we're solving the level 4 Hanayama Cylinder puzzle.

I can tell you that this was a lot tougher to find the solution than I first expected. If you're watching along and think I should have tried something different at a certain point, let me know in the comments what you would have done.
Unfortunately the setting this week isn't quite as glamorous as it was for solving the Delta puzzle.
Anyway, let's crack on with solving the Cylinder puzzle.

Thats a nice puzzle! I solved it and it is one of those times which i enjoy the process (or attempt if you want) of solving it. Always a pleasure solving a well designed, high quality, in terms of materials, puzzle. Well done Hanayama!

Picked this one out of a store cause it looked cool problem with puzzles like this is i solve them but the immidiatly forget how i did. Very hard.

I love the Cylinder puzzle, it's one of my favourite Hanayama's. I agree, this one is even tougher because there's 6 possibilities for the first move but only one of them is the right one. If you're struggling to do it again, there's a solution video here; kzbin.info/www/bejne/p2TIh2qEncxsfNU

I enjoy this one but would argue that baroq is better than this one. I love baroq, infinity, and elk as my top 3 (replay value, smoothness, fidgetiness, and quality are all very important to me). I love cylinder for when I'm stuck at an opera or something (dentist office, dmv, etc) and I need something to play with that isn't too noisy or noticeable. Great puzzle!
