On L24? Indeed you weren't. And the solution he does find misses the intended lesson of "coloured mirrors can be used to combine, not just to split," which then makes it harder later on. On L27 he uses the very corner of the red mirror and has the blue laser just miss it instead of overlapping red and blue properly.

Tyler: Laser Attraction Gameplay KZbin: Oh yeah you are playing poly bridge aren’t ya
@alexstewart95923 жыл бұрын
To be fair to KZbin, half the videos on KZbin are on this one channel, the other half have a combined total of 401 views, and Tyler did put the words "poly bridge" in the description. Poor algorithm probably doesn't have enough data in it to automatically recognise this particular game yet. After all, it DID list a video on speedruning strategies in Bottom of the Well in Ocarina of Time (a location often abbreciated as BOTW) as Breath of the Wild (also abbreviated as BOTW, and in the same series) despite the video being posted before Breath of the Wild had its name announced, and does reguarly get confused between OOT and OOT 3D, Wind Waker and Wind Waker HD, and Twilight Princess and Twilight Princess HD (although the latter two are not helped by people playing mods (e.g. rando) on emulator while also using a HD texture pack).
@bookreaderman67153 жыл бұрын

@FuelFire3 жыл бұрын
I was searching for such comment 😂
@silvermousse92933 жыл бұрын
@@TrevorSmithy just because I love lasers. In IRL when you bounce a laser off of a mirror the mirror absorbs some of the power of the laser. So eventually after so many bounces the light becomes to low of power to see. As well as (in technicality that this game doesn’t have) when you reflect a laser it diverges a bit and then that looses power over time where you can’t see it. So the game could be limiting its own sources. While also using a logic that happens in real life.
@catdisc53043 жыл бұрын
@@silvermousse9293 yes, the photons lose a little bit of energy with every bounce. Also when traveling through any medium they lose a little bit of energy as they get absorbed by different particles in its way.
@neopalm20503 жыл бұрын
It... kind of is though... An amount of the energy in the light is going into the mirrors, but a part of it is going into the air. Depending on how much the air likes to absorb or scatter light compared to how much the mirror likes to absorb or scatter light, it's quite possible that a laser "dissolves into the air" (to become ambient light or heat) more than it gets lost from reflection.

6:40 alternate solution! i thought of a solution in my head before the video solved it and the green mirror is useful for separating out the green from the white (where you separated the red), and bouncing magenta at 2 right angles into the target, then pointing the blue beam to the left (more or less intersecting with the red beam), and then using two mirrors to combine them then bounce it into the cyan finish
