I am not kidding, this is one of the best CS2 content I've seen on youtube! I'm trying to build a city of my own, but my city pales in comparison to yours because mine is completely utilitarian. And also congested with traffic even though I have 100K fewer citizens than you. I wonder how you manage your traffic... hmmm, I'll have to start watching your playlist from scratch!!

Hi, regarding unemployment, have you checked all your offices are fully occupied? The economy patch did something weird with office occupancy. So some offices are barely full. If that’s the case, you need to turn the office tax to max, watch offices empty. Then turn tax to zero and as the offices become full, you can then adjust your office tax rate accordingly to 10% or whatever you want. Great episode by the way.

@@Thisislodger thank you. I’m glad you enjoyed. We did do that a few episodes back so all companies were wiped out and then regenerated. Right now they are at 5-12% and I may put at 9% for awhile based on another comment to assist the company profitability.

Ah that's what that interchange is. And the nice thing about yours is that bank/dip allows you to grade separate to remove those lights if needed! That industry replacement looks great! Should help your economy. As will the forestry. It may also help if you lower office tax to 9%. This causes them to maximise their jobs and gives you a large income boost (only seems to work with offices so far though). Fyi there's currently a bug that causes homeless sims to keep their jobs without getting new homes. I'm told this is getting fixed in the autumn patch. Liked the buses - though I chuckled at a potential acronym for Pine HArbour Rapid Transit 😁

@@nealjroberts4050 😂 I am chuckling at Pine HArbor Rapid Teansit too! I do need to try the 9% office trick just haven’t had the extra time to run the game for a few months to see how it does. I completely missed the opportunity to grade the roads to eliminate those stop lights on the interchange. We will need to remember that if the interchange gets backed up in the future.

@@Na_MaPlays 😂 I'm such a child sometimes. The interchange looks like it's handling it so far but the option is there if needed. Currently looks like an update of your entire transport is in the cards for the special episode 😉

@@nealjroberts4050 You're not alone as I am heaviliy debating making that canon... I would like to tackle an entire transport system overhaul soon including traffic but that is a huge undertaking that I think would have to span a few episodes. For the most part traffic flows decently with a bit of congestion during rush hour but there are definitely some bus systems that need to be evaluated etc.

Hello mayor with a traffic lane mod you can make the bus lane connect great job as always! Because that lane defaulted to a left turn only.

@@_mike628 That is good to know! Have you checked out the road builder mod yet? That looks promising. I thought about downloading that mod for this construction but I want to keep PHC lightly modded (can be replicated in vanilla) If you have seen the new mod what are your thoughts on it?

@@Na_MaPlays I have not tried the road builder, in my view, it is too glitchy at the moment.
