My dad had a heart attack last week and was in congestive heart failure and all the time I was with him at the hospital or back at home, I was binge watching your videos to keep my mind from going certain places. When he was feeling much better the other day, Dad and I were watching together and he was thoroughly impressed with every video he watched and he’s become a fan himself. And he loves Hecklefish who I swear is my dad’s spirit animal. Dad went home today, on his birthday, and he said he was looking forward to getting in his comfy chair and watching the rest of your videos. So thank you for keeping me from losing it the last week. The material came partly from Anselm von Feuerbach's private collection. The genetic code was the same in all items tested. They compared the genetic material to Astrid von Medinger, who was a descendant of Charles of Baden and Stephanie de Beauharnais, and it turned out that the DNA matched 95%.

One of the things you do so well with the channel is pacing. Maybe it's your background in production but the brilliance of using title cards and cut screens every time the audience has a question and then coming back in with the answer is just brilliant. It's like a mature version of the call and response that you often see in children's television. "Who? How? What? Why?" "Let me tell you." It's such a smooth way to engage with your audience beyond the comment section.

The green children fascinated me when I first read about them as a child (obsessed with the paranormal since 1984 thanks Ghostbusters) and I always fancied the fairyland idea. But after listening to your episode about how we've evolved to see colour, I wonder if they really were green, perhaps just very yellow from jaundice? I'm also leaning toward being from another country, in the 12th century most people only knew their own region and had no experience of the languages, culture and costume of far away places. The deeper mystery is how they got so far away from their homeland...maybe *that part* is a time slip. 😉

This story has happened in a lot of countries but because Americans speak English let’s just say it was England but it was Germany were this story was first told. So if a few countries are claiming it happened in their country well then it’s a hoax because no children could survive on one source of food.
@dr.feelgood.13302 жыл бұрын
Exactly the story didn’t begin in England because England had only three languages I think they were brought far away from their homes and left in a field near a town or village and maybe they were sick and were off color. The first people to tell this story were Germans so it had to be children from some place in Europe or euro Asia.

The last story sounds like the Missing 411 phenomenon. You should do a video on that. It’s very intriguing and mysterious. David Paulides is great and all, but sometimes his storytelling gets a bit depressing because he talks about suicide constantly. This is because his son committed suicide a couple years ago, which seemed to me like not much of a coincidence since his father was in the middle of uncovering one of the biggest mysteries in recent history. That is a story within itself if you ask me.

AJ, you and Heckle Fish are an extremely talented individuals with great presentation skills. 😂 I’m quite surprised that you don’t have your own prime time television program. Keep them coming. We’ll keep watching. Thanks.

Hey I live 10 minutes from Woolpit , they have a great garden centre there so visit often. The story is not really spoken about locally but really weird to see this tiny little village spoken about on your channel. As well as mentioning my old town Bury St Edmunds. 😊

He mentions a case briefly in another video that happened in Tonga, a small archipelago of islands in the South Pacific and I mean small, barely distinguishable on a map. My grandma is from there so it was so strange seeing it brought up on a KZbin channel!

My dad went to a school on Long Island called Trespar Clark for "special kids". I tracked him down and met him when I was 18, and he mentioned strange things they did at that school around the time of the Montuak Project; I always wondered if there was a link. My dad is "mentally ill" he said because of weird stuff he experienced at "school"...???

I read about the green children when I was a kid, and it always fascinated me. I agree with your theory about where they came from, and that they were most likely Flemish. It makes complete sense. I also considered whether they may have had jaundice or some other liver disorder, as that can make your skin go a strange yellow-ish green color. ( I have had hepatitis A, and was that kind of color myself). The story of Pauline is a sad one. I believe that the parents made an honest mistake in their identification of the child that was found. They wanted for her to be their daughter so much that they overlooked anything that told them otherwise. Love Hecklefish!! He really makes watching fun and worthwhile! Keep up the great work, and I can't wait for the next video.

As far as I know, they said they don't exhume out of "respect". My suspicion is that they don't want the truth out there. If the story is true, that means they did some awful things to protect the family. And this isn't a thousand years ago. We are only a few generations away from the people in the story.

Probably because it might raise awkward questions about the legitimacy of other 'noble' families' offspring. Take a look at a certain red-headed British 'Royal,' who bares a marked resemblance to his late mother's red-headed equiry.

At the end of the day, royal families are about as paranoid as ppl can get when it comes to their 🏧$💰... And look anywhere in time at history and see the atrocities committed by the royals to deny regular ppl there fortune: princess Diana got wacked for cheating on Charles, Cleopatra gave it up to CAESAR to oust her older broski, Charles II, King of Spain from 1665 to 1700, who was determined to be the 'individual with the highest coefficient of inbreeding', or the most inbred monarch slept with his mom to hold it down! etc. 🤮🤢 @the why files keep em coming my friend!
