You are literaly building my dream car, i live in europe but i bought pistons and connecting rods for cheap used from S52 engine from usa, now im planning to bore the m50 and put it in along with m54b30 crankshaft that should give me a s52 clone. Great content!

Man I can't believe you did all of that troubleshooting. Crazy stuff. Have you ever considered loading INPA on an old laptop? Works wonders for me for stuff like this

off topic but when you lowered your calypso did you have to get an engine riser kit? ik people talk about the oil pan clearance on e30s i dunno if it applies to m50 e34s

What’s the difference with the e34 motor that had vanos vs the one without it ?

M50 non vanos: No vanos, dual valve springs, 135mm beefier rods M50 vanos: had vanos, single valve springs, 140mm rods
