Solving True Genius - Lighthouse Flame | Solved

I have always loved things made from wood. So it is surprising that I have taken so long to get back into playing/solving wooden puzzles like Today's Puzzle. Lighthouse Flame by Recent Toys is part of the True Genius Collection. As you will see in the video the disassembly is not the problem with these types of brain teasers, however putting it back together can be a challenge.

I have had this same puzzle in my backpack for 7+ years and occasionally would pull it out and try and solve it but could never get it back together. There was something symbolic about having a puzzle I couldn't solve with me at all times). Over the past few months, I have been so close to the solution, grouping the pieces together and trying to fit the two groups, but couldn't quite make it fit. Now I wish I would have stuck with it, but it is still so satisfying after all these years to get this puzzle together. When it slid into place tonight, I just sat there staring at it like a wonder of the universe. I can't believe it's done! Thanks for the video

this is gonna sound weird because it's the easy part of the puzzle but mine is super tight together and i can't get it apart

Geez, I've been trying to do this method or similar arrangements the whole time, but my hands are too small to hold everything in place.

I tried doing it this way, but I found just using some elbow grease and the right amount of “looseness” you can shimmy the last piece in 😂

How to you keep them upright lol

Getting them to stay upright was an effect of the Fluffy Towel I use to cover the table.
