Hi. I have just got this kit and was wondering if the suction cups are any good in mounting the aerial to the side of the caravan? Do they become un stuck after a while? Cheers .

I've not had an issue other than in really cold weather. Do make sure you push them firmly though.

Hi, will this bit of kit boost the signal from the CMC WiFi’s, last week at Tredegar House the wifi was poor, we were not too far away from the site signal on the toilet and shower block. Hope that you have now been using the solwise for a while you will have had the chance to evaluate it more. Regards David

Hi David. It will boost a weak signal but wont and can't speed up a slow one. I've never found site WiFi very fast and never had a download much above 1Mbps either with this kit or without. However it's worth considering the other advantage this kit offers - that of sharing one log in. The device connects to the site Wi-Fi then your devices connect to the device, saving the need to purchase a log in for each device. I've been using this for nearly ten months now and honestly wouldn't be without it. It's been so useful. Hope this helps!

Does this work with the caravan club wifi as you have to log in with a username and password on a browser page - its not just a wifi password- thanks

Hi Simon, thanks for commenting. I cannot say with absolute certainty as I'm yet to try it on a club site. However, on our previous and current site, log in was via a browser - to enter a voucher code on one and to agree to T's & C's on the other. Once the router is logged in it should stay so until your package expires or power is interrupted. I am keen to find out too but am unlikley to be on a club site until the summer. OK will call them - I'm on a C and M site this weekend so will look out to see if anyone is using a Solwise and ask them - I'm really interested where there is no 3 or 4 g and need to share a wifi with others in the caravan will let you know if i find out more

I have bought one has a long range only issue I am getting is the speed even connect to my home wifi which was showing 57mbs download, I'm only getting 1mbs using this system anyone got any ideas ?
