I have a rural property with batteries and a solar panel. I need to get my friendly neighbors wifi up to my cabin. I am higher than he is, but we are separated by 900 feet of forest. Could a 2 way system punch through this. Or would it be absolutely necessary to get the antenna or dish above the trees. This could be done as the terrain rises quite steeply a little further away, but the distance will increase from his wifi as well as from my cabin. The power consumption is critical as it will need to be 12v powered. and on all the time to transmit pictures from a security cam.

I thing it would be beneficial if you would combine the 2.4 Ghz signal with outdoor tv antenna and 2.4 GHz antenna. Dc power can be combined on 75 Ohm antenna coax. I don't like having so many dedicated cables routed and drilled thru the wall. Is this possible?

You can use the existing cable that is 75ohm, you will just have some loss since this is an 50ohm antenna. Maybe 5% or so depending on the run.

I'm A avid RV'er and on the road most of the time. Would your system work on the road? The camp grounds I stop at say Wi-Fi is available, but most of the times the service is very bad.

While you are at a campsite with available WiFi, this kit (and variations of it) will help you to dramatically improve your reception capabilities and increase speed. However it won't work while literally on the road, you will need to have access to a WiFi network near by.

Hi, I'm trying to extend my internet signal from my house down to my barn. My barn is approx. 100 ft from the main house. Also approx. 40 ft lower than the main house. My objective is to have a good enough signal to run a smart tv and what ever other devices my kids use. IE, phones, tablet, and laptops. The barn is two stories tall with windows that face the house. The strongest kit is $249.99 and if you have a clear line of sight with proper elevation you have a good chance of making it work for you. it really depends on how strong the other signal is. Do you know the person who owns the hotspot? For a better connection it would be awesome to put an antenna pointing back at you from the hotspot.

Our bullet version comes with a very simple to use software unlike the standard one from Ubiquiti. The one you have requires some technical networking experience. We don't have any videos or info on that model.
