Thank you so much for checking out my video and trusting my channel 🧡 You will find quite some more Lyra here, and also a little tutorial on how to approach it in a gentler way :) The LFO is tricky, but never trickier than the infinite crossmodulation between voices, and I admit most of the times I simply surrender to the instrument and I keep the recorder running, just in case of some happy accidents

Oh yeah, it is! It literally blows air through the woofers, this beast goes super deep and super intense. For the video "Getting lost in the process" I was worried about ruining the speakers and... I just got a P23 and was not at all interested in the Lyra at first, but your videos with it (and a (really) handful of others that managed to keep this beast under control, which seems to be a rare thing) is slowly changing that. But I think I'm going, if at all, with green!!!
@Dexba2 жыл бұрын
Oh, thank you! That's a top-level compliment right here! Green is gorgeous, even though I don't understand why they made so rare the initial "nuclear central panel green" or The Pacifist. I know collectible items add to the charm, but... a bit sad :( This is the only video where I used a plugin: this is the free Valhalla Supermassive, but I honestly don't remember which preset it was. I think the results sit in between the CXM1978 (my favorite) and the BigSky (not really bad obviously, but still... not showing all the Lyra potential). @@riebeck_8171 Sure you can! I have an Apogee Duet, I go straight into it, being very careful with the levels since the Lyra can get very "hot" very fast! @Dexba3 жыл бұрын
Yes and no. The Lyra itself has a very hands-on approach, but you won't be learning or controlling much while using it. If your ultimate goal is just to produce some notes or noise while letting go yourself, it could be a nice choice, but as a "first of many" synth, you won't get much transferrable knowledge :)
@PrOFiT933 жыл бұрын
