Would love to see a review/comparison on the Yokozuna vs the TRP Hy/Rd!

Can't wait for this review since I have the old orange version of this bike. My guess is it won't surpass the Crust for the esteemed supplest bike of the year, because it's a bit sportier, but you will like it. For me it's the most comfortable bike I've ever used, but I haven't been on a few of these modern supple bikes, yet.

Looking forward to this one...On paper, the frame seems dialed in: Finally available with an oversized headtube for tapered forks and the improved rear sliding dropouts...seems perfect for someone that wants a versatile, racy steel bike that can take legit big gravel tires.

Really like my Wolverine V3. Around my neighborhood 29ers rule. I have been running mine with 29 x 2.2 RaceKing II tires and love it. I'd love to know if that fork will spin the same tire. I run the steel fork currently.

Riser bars with dropped stem... (Or to be more accurate, spacers on top of the stem.). Hmmm.... Doesn’t seem to make much sense but looks cool I guess.

Ah HA! I knew I wasn't crazy. On the BikeRumor website, if you search for their review of the Soma Wrench on May 29th, they mention that the bits are removable. My guess is Soma got feedback from enough people that weren't thrilled with the too easily removable bits that they started making them fixed. There's some of that discussion on the BikeRumor review also. I'm glad they sent you a fixed one. All it takes is one time for the end to slip out of the wrench and bolt you're working on at the same time. We all know what happens with small cylindrical things that fall on shop floors. XD

Very useful as I just got a Soma Wolverine v2.1.1 frame Sunday(not fork yet, but thinking about going Surly Midnight special thru-axle fork as it cost about $40 less than the Wolverine thru-axle fork). Maybe I missed it, but which version did you receive? V3, V4a or V4b?
@jun81855 жыл бұрын
Looking at the color, I think it's a V4a. The bike looks exactly like the floor model that Soma used to take photos.
