Reality is, the messed up beliefs Somalis have about the developed countries ruined this mans life. He got sent to Canada as a kid with no family, he had no chance from the get go! I am a new comer to Canada, I came here as a grown man, it is still hard. Sometimes you ask yourself would I rather be poor but be back home? Or would I rather be poor, miserable and alone but be in Canada. Haha! Every one that came to this country that I spoke to is miserable, we have been duuuped! I always knew life in the diaspora was overrated even before coming to Canada, but damn it is harder when you actually experience the rough life here!! Praying for you my man, Insha allah you will get through this.

@@frankwright9774hey frank, interesting take. The dude explained how he was sent at the age of 4 with his brother to Canada by themselves and later “disciplined” and had most of their paychecks taken away by their guardians at the time. How he really wasn’t raised with his other siblings and when they got older and connected they took advantage of him. How his health started to deteriorate and nobody was able to help him. To be placed under such immense pressure would break you. To literally have no one. Eventually lead him to the streets and during that time started with drugs. Drugs become the “tool” used to alleviate the immense pressure they feel. It’s clear you haven’t taken the time to listen to his hour long story and sympathize with his position as a human being. Must be nice judging others from your nice couch and iPhone.
