Liin macaan and orange are the same thing…the only difference is the “orange juice” in the west has artificial flavors/color that’s why the one back in Somaliland tests different it’s organically grown/made!

I think she meant the color orange its confusing but somalis actually call the colour orange liimi 😂😂😂 also babe lin macaan is orange juice freshly squeezed it is green in color when it's whole because oranges here are organic in the UK they're massive orange in color and very sweet because of genetic modification. 😘😘

@@iman1649 yes, that makes so much sense, I was confused bc they taste different too, I read somewhere that the chlorophyll that produces the green colour dies off in colder temps but yes all of our food is way too processed ❤️❤️

I sometimes ask myself why don’t we have street food in Hargeisa? What do we offer to lure the tourists in? I always have a hard time figuring out where to take people to show them the beauty of our culture, it seems that we like to westernize everything and we take out the cultural element from it….. It’s so hard to find Somali street food in Hargeisa, we’ve mostly got Yemenis and Pakistanis apart from the hooyos that sell in front of the schools. Anyways, I really had a great time watching your vlog, please check out Aragsan village in naasa hablood area, it is a modern residential village currently under construction.

@@Rahmasvisualdiary I saw a video on "I am Ali" one he did ages ago on the Street food scene there and they had liver kebabs! People there eat rabbits also and all kinds of seafood. I have never even heard of such a thing as liver kebabs, it was sandwiched between bits of fat on the skewers. I saw the same thing recently in a video in North Africa I think it was Morocco. Amazing. I love liver.

Heyyyy none of the hotels I stayed at particularly stood out to me. I usually use @booking.com and read the reviews depending on the area you’re staying in. I prefer downtown or Al wasl. Maybe also choose a hotel near the metro if you want to take public transport. :)
