Truth be told the ruler of quarter of Mogadishu (“ President “) has concentrated all his will on erecting monuments but has failed to make his priority the unification of the country. Sad state of affairs. The man has embarked on artificial “reconstruction “ of little places in Mogadishu. Holly god! The country is more than quarter of Mogadishu.

Cabdilhi hasan astaan uma aha Mugdisho ee dadkii wadenka lahaa taarikhdoda aya la mejero Habaabineya?
Somalia is very far from being peaceful. The return of the monuments simply implies the return of the civil war. All these monuments were ones targeted & destroyed by tribal militias because most of them represent the “superiority” of some tribes and undermine others as inferiors. Sayid Abdullah aka the mad mullah was may be a hero for some tribes but a blood sucking murderer warlord for others. Nothing new here mates, the president himself hails from the mad mullah tribe therefore it is only a matter of time before we see others doing the same. I wouldn’t be surprised if the current administration erect a monument for the late dictator Ziyad Bare. Somalia will remain divided and at war with each other till this euphoria and obsessions with tribal warlords stops.
@amaanreer53115 жыл бұрын
no it wasn't, they were taken so the metals can be sold in the black market. People were looting all over somalia due to siad barre leaving the country poor with his socialist/communist agenda. Mad Mullah is respected by everyone except the British orphans in northern Somalia, thats why in galmudug, south west state, puntland, and jubaland have security forces called "cidamada darawishta".
@afrodir48285 жыл бұрын
Amaanreer of course , why wouldn’t they support him? Mad Mullah belong to their tribe. You just proved my point mate 😂 stop living in the past. Somalia will never be at peace till people like you stop idolising these warlords and dictators. Ignorance is NOT bliss! It is a matter of time before the native warlords return and the warlords you are supporting get chased out again. There is a somali proverb “Nin ragii walaal wuxuu ku dhaamo la waa” 😂 sanka dadka ka marmari wad arki doonta waxad ka macaashto. Haddii ad in un caqli leedahay Hal nin oo waa hore dhintay oo an wax ba kuu qaban karin 4 million oo maanta nool uma ad caydeen ee caqlaanad lahayn. Mise waxad is leedahay Taalada ayaa wax kaa celinaysa 😂 😆
@afrodir48285 жыл бұрын
Omar Omar Tell me! What is the logic behind or the reason why these monuments esp the 1 for the Mad Mullah (a very controversial figure in Somali history) and the timing? Do you think Puntland or Jubaland will accept a memorial monument for Aidid or Silaanyo in their cities? Exactly! Don’t get me wrong, I have no issues with Hawa Tako, Abdirashiid Ali Shermarke or Ahmed Gurey. I just don’t understand the obsession with the controversial figures such as the Mad Mullah or Ziad Barre? how on earth can we move on when there are still people who romanticise a dictator?
@amaanreer53115 жыл бұрын
@@afrodir4828 no they're not the same tribe, the mullah is ogaden and raxanweyne/hawyie security forces use the name "darwishta' for themselves. hes only a controversial figure for the British orphans in northern somalia.
@princegaraad73085 жыл бұрын
Your sick in the head all of those people/monuments fought for the somali people not for qabil don't be jealous they are from one clan and go and do something for Somalia if you want a monument...but qabyalidiste haters like you will never achieve success. Also were do you see said barre monument. You have a disease in your heart.
