Clips are ABSOLUTELY NOT TOO LONG! Some of us are in rural areas and watching you do these tasks along with your focused commentary provides the voice of experience and outside input that we would otherwise lack (Even if you took a class, you would not get this "one on one" instruction!). I just attached 8 handles in a row following your suggestions. It was the best session for making and attaching handles that I ever had,; and, not to be full of myself, but I'm actually pretty good at it! They are neat, clean, flowing, and quick; they look so graceful and clean -- it made me very proud. Thanks again

Simon you are the SUPERMAN of Clay, this is what i have wanted to see how you start your handles before you lay them out . I think this will help improve anyones handle making by following these easy steps. thank you. eddies pottery in Illinois.

Simon, No, no, and yes I'm not. Threw 24 sponge holders today ........no handles needed...phew! Did use a mirror and height/width guide even with different shapes. Most came out close in dimensions. Your videos are not too long!!! Cuppa of Typhoo at 9:30pm out of a Simon Leach Mug......life is grand. Thanks for sharing!

Yea I hit that bell long ago and yes they are a bit long but that's good. So I listen as I work in studio. You always have plenty that pulls me it. Today it was sponge throwing thanks for the thoughts on the lack of feel for the clay.

Couldn’t lose me. It’s either new and I’m learning something new or it isn’t new and I’m seeing it to practice.

Great clip as always. I actually used your guidance to demonstrate pulling handles to a class the other week. It’s a great technique once you master it. As always it’s just practice and don’t give up. Thanks again Simon

Nice one Simon, I now know why I'm rubbish at pulling handles, I don't use enough water! Thanks. By the way, I watch another potter on KZbin (Jon the potter) and he posted a video of him talking to his grandfather, who also was a potter, and he spoke about meeting your grandfather in China or Japan, I can't remember which, but it was very interesting, maybe you should check it out. Cheers Bob 🇬🇧
