Leslie, the curator is an absolute treasure and she does an amazing job of making sure her customers have a wonderful shopping experience. The donated items she receives are styled with care and very reasonably priced to ensure the cause of Hearts Alive, helping unwanted pets find forever homes, is continually funded. Hi Tiffany! I am so happy you did this video from Hearts Alive. I have been working on clearing out a lot of items in my home and because of your video today, I have decided to give them all to Hearts Alive. My Mom and sister live near the store so I am planning on helping them gather up things from their home for donation too. I'm very Happy you have decided to donate your items for the care of these pets. I'm an older lady, and I know people in my neighborhood think of me as the crazy cat lady! I had my Kittybaby for 22 years, was a Himalayan Persian all black with gold eyes ....she was beautiful!!! But I feed the many cats in the neighborhood, and don't care what they say, as they need to eat too! I don't think they get a meal everyday if it wasn't for me, and my son...we contacted the shelter but there are not shelters in Alabama that are no kill, so there you have it....I can barely get everybody fed but I do my best...I'm going to try to get some shelters to help me with the spaying, and neutering , the are beautiful, but too many for one person. They are all outside, except for 3 kittens...I need good homes for them, but not sending them to be killed either. I'll figure it out...I hope!!! They are all in good health so far. I'm happy you found out about this place through Tiffany, I watch her show all the time. Thank you for all your help in these difficult times. God bless you all.

@@christineeversole4974 Hello Christine! I'm sorry I didn't reply sooner. Thank you for your kind comment. I'm sorry about your Kittybaby passing, 22 years old is amazing! I just had to put our 21 year old cat down this last weekend. She lived a good life but it was hard, as it always is. I have one cat now, a beautiful long haired Calico. She has become a very finicky eater and won't eat any salmon cat food, nor drink cat milk. So, I had a whole lot of cans of Fancy Feast cat food in the salmon variety, and also had some chicken that she won't touch either. I was able to take all the cans, and the cat milk, along with a few other items to the Cat Cafe at Hearts Alive Village. They have a beautiful set up there, and about 40 cats. They let them roam free, there are a several cat trees, and places for them to play, sleep and eat. The place is clean, and staffed with caring, lovely people. I felt so good being able to donate all the cat food and other items. I also was able to donate to the thrift store a crystal decanter with matching glasses, and some beautiful hand painted champagne flutes. I hope they sell well! I'm so happy Tiffany shared the video with us; I love all her videos! And bless you and your son for taking care of the feral cats in the neighborhood. In Vegas, we have the "Community Cat Coalition," which is a wonderful group of volunteers who go out and trap feral cats, get them spayed and neutered, and release them back to their location. They try to find as many homes as they can for kittens but just getting them the vet care they need has really made an impact. I wish your town had such an organization. I'm sorry they don't have a no kill shelter either, that just makes me sad as it does you too. I wish you well as you try to find good homes for the 3 kittens. I'll be praying for you, your son and the kitties. Sending good thoughts across the miles to you!

Diamond was such a sweetheart, I wished I lived closer, I would think hard about adopting her. I absolutely love the pottery bowl. It is very mid-century modern & the colors are beautiful! I also love the small Greek pitcher. I collect Greek pottery & have quite a few pitchers that size & style, only they are pottery. Great haul!

What an absolutely wonderful store! It’s like a little oasis tucked away in a strip mall! The ambiance is so soothing - quiet and nicely lit without being too bright and a sweet, creamy-colored dog to greet you. And everything is so artfully arranged and of evident good quality. If I had the space, I could have cleaned it all out, particularly the front room. Even the artwork was beautiful. But NOTHING beats that beautiful dresser! When you turned around from the counter and started across the room, I actually had a quick intake of air! Then I started whispering, “That dresser! Tiffany! The dresser!” and, of course, you went straight to it. I just loved it and I’m daydreaming (well, sort of…it’s 2:45 AM) of driving cross-country to snatch it up! Just stash it in the back of the SUV and head back home! 😂😂😂 The pine cone candlesticks, and the 3rd brass one, look great on your beautiful curio! Good thing you went back to grab them. And found those gorgeous majolica bowls!! I’d say that was the extra that made the trip back even more worthwhile. 😊

Bear is such an eager beaver, so smart, and the nice playground/walking trails look like a pure joy to take him to. I Like wedgewood jasper some? One gorgeous shallow crystal bowl near front very brilliant, yellow painting in back? Eagle is gorgeous! Do you use black light to test milkglass?

I use a black light for many items even clear glass. You would be surprised at how many pieces of clear glass actually glows. Also, I use it on vintage jewelry and have found quite a few pieces that the stones are uranium.
