Some BMW E60 in-line 6-cylinder goodness - N53

This video is intended for anyone interested in this engine and gearbox combination and behavior. You can see some accelerations, manual shifting, and sound tests.
The engine is an N53, 3 liter in-line 6 cylinder from 2010. No turbos, reving to 7 thousand.
The car is completely stock, no modifications done to it.
I have selected some deserted roads for this video, always drove slowely through towns and respected other drivers. Be good behind the steering wheel.

Nice video to see the perfomance of the engine. I think in lower rpm its enough torque, much better then the old and smaller 2.5 n52. Do you have any problems with the injectors or another engine part?

Thank you. So far, I only had to replace bad coil (so I did all of them). There is a video with that on my channel. Other than that, the car is very good to me. Only regular oil changes (every 8K km in my case)...

I must be honest, my e93 seems to change gear a lot quicker than yours when in manual mode (DS). Not as fast as a dual clutch, but very near.

I am quite happy with the shift speed compared to my old Audi A6 Tiptronic. But I am planning tranny oil change, so that could help... Thanks for your comment. All the best in 2021.

Dream engine, how's maintaining it?

It´s been very good to me, so far. The best car I´ve had, that´s why I still have it. It needs to be maintained, especialy early oil changes. I change oil every 8K km. The biggest job so far was a valve cover gasket, nothing dramatic. I´ve got 200K km on it at the moment.

No, this is 218 hp variant of this I6 engine.
