Some Diablo IV observations following recent gameplay footage

June release date is kind of far but near at the same time. I just barely took a look at Diablo IV and immediatly noticed one irritating combat sound I had to talk about and also some fine tuning about lightning.
My wish is this video reaches either Joe Shely, Joseph Piepiora or Rod Fergusson and even better, all of them. If you also think there is improvement that can be done with combat sound, please share this video.

The lighting on the spell effects could be good but if it takes a hit to performance i would rather not have it. The sword sound effect would be great if fighting something that also had a weapon, if it doesnt have a weapon then it should be a different sound.

Good luck getting it out there. I really feel like the game isn't for me at all. Nothing I've seen has grabbed my attention. It's the Diablo 3 teaser all over to me. And every additional scrap we've gotten just grates on me.

Yeah I'm not excited like I was in May 2000. I will have to dig more and have a more serious look I think before buying. I think that for a 2023 game/engine/CPUand GPU power I was expecting a little more but oh well, a bit hard to explain my feelings actually. Thanks for the comment, the first one after over 300 views!

The majority of the people that have played the demo have said its good. Iv heard the story is the best one yet and has more story than all other diablo games. Its dark like a diablo game should be. The systems compliment the open world and provide better custimization for your heroes. I believe its gona be better than d2r and d3. D2 doesnt have much custimization and i just hate the fact that magic users have to put vitality since intelligence doesnt upgrade damage. D3 has custimization but its tied too heavily to gear and its way too cartooney.

What is bugging me so far, is it doesn't look like that there are nearly enough monsters to fight at once. Doesn't really look like a Diablo game.

Having a high concentration of mobs means that they are easier to kill and will lead to the same gameplay of blow evrything up on screen as fast as you can. Thats not what the developers want. They want combat to more thoughtful and a little slower.

@@kevinsims5791 It wasn't too long to get Helltides, then boosted Helltides with later patches for even more mobs density so devs had to adapt I guess.
