THANK YOU, Jeff! I absolutely love those parrots and their stamps, and the first day cover of them with the parrot cancellations! Adorable. So sad that they are so endangered! ... "They forget how to fly when the are in danger." 😆That can be a bummer! The first FDCs were also interesting, and it is amazing how interesting handwritings of the past are. ... And I also have to add: when you had to use your knife, I could not help to think - "That is not a knife, THIS is a knife." 😄🙂Special greetings here from your cross Tasman neighbour.

Thanks Charnie !! Yes I also love the parrots and the parrot cancels !! I love the older handwriting and it is amazing how handwriting changes over the years. I always wanted to learn calligraphy and use a lovely pen and nib with ink well :) Yes the knife is one I bought a few years ago - I love pocket knives :) Thanks for watching - your friend Jeff :)
