Thanks Mike!! I was blown away by Jacob and Carlos… I was ordering this brush regardless, but then grabbing it for my birthday took some of the sting outta this expensive Order lol. Definitely glad I switched out on the fly, I likely would’ve bled if I continued on with the straight, and that wouldn’t be ideal… and CAD….. so many great things with this scent, it’s still wafting off me like a cloud and I’m all about that life. Hey Justin, great shave. That strop sounds quite nice. The brush sounds absolutely awesome, and the Phoenix barber Matt sounds cool. I have been thinking about picking up one of those barber mats myself, so when I shave, I have a safe padded place to put my stuff during my shave. I am also very interested in a dreamscape scuttle, I’m also interested in their brush scuttle as well.

Hey Lance! Yeah, all in all I’m very happy with all the new gear, I plan my purchases out pretty well, so these were all thoroughly thought out. My mat will be staying under the gear on the rack, but if it wasn’t being used for that it would also be a great place to set my items when shaving, it’s non slip which is great for setting ceramics on too!! The new scuttle is fantastic, it’s huge and high is what I wanted, plenty of room to really work a lather.

You’re much braver than me. I will never use a straight razor; only DE shaving for this fellow.

I said the same thing once, now shavettes are my main razors, and only use DE’S for cleanup. Intimidating at the start, but once you start using them, they are hard to put down!

@@JMac. Shavettes make more sense to me. Being able to switch out a blade means not worrying about having to keep the edge honed.

@@robertross8565 yep, exactly one of the main reasons I went that route, zero maintenance and always having a sharp blade is great! I use all AC shavettes and they agree with my beard better than real straights, all about how experimentation and finding what works.
