I want to thank everyone who somehow contributed and helped my channel over the last few years. OBS: in the video there was an accident that the tank fell over, and a flame of fire appeared without damage, just be careful that this does not happen on cloth and wood!
In this video you will be able to follow, a battery of tests, that this war tank was submitted. It is also demonstrated the measurements of the Stirling engine, a test of power in the traction of the war tank and how the project was assembled.

Personal opinion: although this tank is a commercial product, I realized new possibilities to improve our engines, with some features of this project, we can manufacture our own carts.
From the first moment I got to know this engine, I immediately noticed that it was an engine with unusual characteristics. I found that the piston strokes are relatively large, approximately 16 mm, considering the 12 mm diameter of the piston. Even so, the engine reached records in rotations (2900rpm) and maintained excellent torque. This will be the focus of my new project.
Similar features I got on my Stirling Alfa engine many years ago, see the video below: • Teste de velocidade má...
My engine hit 1900rpm with 30mm strokes for each piston, practically twice as much and 14.5mm in diameter. In both examples, we have good rotation and good torque. Obviously mine has a lower speed, but on the other hand, it's among the highest torque motors I've made.
I was surprised by the 2500rpm when riding on a flat track and much more impressed by the 2900rpm in free spin. Considering its low displacement of 3.62 cc, it still shows a good breath of torque. In addition to the test performed in the video, I have already performed another experiment, where the war tank pulled up 900 grams of weight and its rotation remained at 1500rpm. All this power is admirable, I didn't imagine so much torque, the engine starts to lose torque at rotations close to 600rpm.
It does not need lubrication on the pistons, only after a long time, it is interesting to put grease on the joints.
Even without a liquid cooling system, it heats up to the point of burning your fingers, but it doesn't stop it from running continuously for hours.
I also observed, in addition to the good performance, it is a well-designed project, aiming to reduce the manufacturing cost. Because only a 5 ml glass syringe was used, to make the two cylinders and pistons, very well thought out.
The use used high temperature silicone o-ring to secure the glass syringes and test tube to the aluminum block, allowing for possible replacement of the glass cylinder.
► Features:
- The stroke of each piston is 16 mm and 12 mm in diameter for each piston and even with a stroke a little longer than usual, it reached this high rotation.
- Total weight is 1,263 grams fueled.
- Only the motor has a weight of 420 grams.
- The length of the cold piston is 20 mm.
- The length of the hot piston is 50 mm.
- The length of the connecting rod is 51 mm.
- The test tube is 40 mm long, 16.5 mm outside diameter and 14 mm inside diameter.
