I like your video's and watch when I can. I like the one where you made the Vanda wire, and the difference between a good Vanda and not a good one not healthy. Yes keep up the good work. Have a nice day.

First DMB is awesome. No doubt you know your stuff about orchids, but how did you come to learn so much? Is your family in the business? You are amazing! Best vanda expert on the web!! Cheers!

Wow, what an amazing collection of gorgeous orchids. Just curious about what type of fertilizer you’re using on your stunning Vandas? Keep posting videos, love your tips and of course your gorgeous orchids🌴🌺

Looking forward to it! I’m sure you’re busy taking care of all those amazing orchids. How big is your collection? Still hoping to see an MV Tannins on eBay someday soon 😃🌴🌸

Lol...we dont count anymore! I would say around 350...very modest collection 😅😅

Wow!!! That’s modest??? I can’t imagine how you manage to care for that many and still have time to do anything else!

"smiles" I have the same issue with Vanda roots... the roots being longer/bigger than the actual plant, definitely makes hanging a challenge.
@mainlyvandas2146 жыл бұрын
Ha! Yes they can get long! I try not to tie them up, but sometimes i have to
@j.d.80756 жыл бұрын
I tend to throw a hissy fit at them and put them out on one of my trees... I live in the tropics so am able to do this [smiling]

Do you use an automatic watering system? My Vandas just don't produce roots like that (with the exception of a couple I mounted to a live oak), I get better root growth out of them in net pots (mesh baskets) with some type of media versus bare root - in SW FL.

A lot of water!!! I use an automatic system yes. I am.going to be making a video on that soon as well. Very simple and relatively cheap!
