I just bought it and what they didn't disclose in the video is it's quite finicky. I had mine "charging" for 45 minutes and it did about 40%. It's because the puck is too receded, you have to pull it out.

4:42 The Clip-on Cases are fine, but they do wear on the Crown a bit and also block it off a lot of the time, making it hard to twist. I even had problems using the Crown after a while, cause it didn't get registered anymore and I had to constantly restart my Watch. It's best to go with Ringke's Slim Bezel Style Cases - especially the Black Shiny Metal one keeps the Pixel Watch's unique design and is barely noticeable at most angles. After installing that one, my problems with the Crown immediately vanished! Combine that with Ringke's awesome Dual Easy Screen Protector for the Pixel Watch and you got yourself the best protection, while keeping the Watch's asthetics in check. I still keep the old Clip-On Covers for any possible Emergency inside of my neat Watch Band Case.

I swear by the woven band. I have two, one in lemongrass and one in ivy. I pretty much live in the ivy band, it's great for work where I'm a mechanic.

@@GalaxyNexus1 it's a nice colour, I have a sorta seafoam Pixel 6 and lemongrass Buds Pro, it just gets dirty very easily I find.

I'm a mechanic too. I have the Galaxy watches from 3 to 5 with the pixel watch on it's way. I use my xiaomi smart band 6 as I don't want to get the others scratched/dirty and it has taken a few knocks. How is your watch holding up?

@@Mike.Tech.honestly, I scratched one quite noticeably, unfortunately the crown started malfunctioning and Amazon were good enough to replace it. I haven't scratched the new one, would like to get a screen protector for it, I tried the ringke ones but they were difficult to fit and the one I successfully got on had a lot of bubbles. Debating whether to get a case, I just feel it takes away too much from the design of the watch.

Great video, thanks. I wish there were more good accessories. One Tip: You can charge your Pixel Watch from your Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra phone! I recently took a 4 day short vacation (driving trip) away from home, and although I remembered to take my watch charger, I forgot that it uses a USB C connector and my laptop and wall chargers only had USB A. So, I was faced with having a useable watch only one day out of the 4 I would be away. 😞 However, I remembered that my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra phone has a USB C charging port so I tried plugging in my watch charger to my phone port and found that my phone battery charged my Pixel Watch no problem. I would plug my watch into my phone while I was in the shower and it would charge it up enough for the day. I could easily keep my phone charged later in the day or just overnight with the multitude of USB A chargers or my laptop. Just thought I'd share that tip in case others find themselves in a situation with no USB C ports around.

This is far from the truth. The Pixel Watch is NOT compatible with QI chargers. Google has emphasized this and you are spreading misinformation.

@@jotafett That is not even what was said. He said you can plug in the USB-C pixel charger into your samsung to charge it that way. And you can even charge it using the "battery share" on samsung and pixel phone. You just have to line it up correctly. So QI chargers does work to an extend. They might not have intended it but it works so stop being a sheep xd

@@jotafett I'm not saying Qi chargers work with the Pixel Watch. I'm saying that if you plug in the Pixel Watch charger to your Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra phone via the USB C port on the phone, the charger will charge the watch. At least it worked for me repeatedly over a period of 4 days. Your mileage may vary, but it's worth a try on whatever phone you may have.

I am sorry 9to5 but G P watches are an absolute rubbish a trash 🗑️ worse smart watch in the market in all expects. That's why they don't sell at all. Because they just made another failure product after the first disaster 😅 GP-watch disaster and now GP-watch 2 repeat of a perfect disaster failure product. But to be fair despite the very bad battery life and super small screen and watch size it can be a perfect watch for your kids and ladies of the Android world. Definitely not a watch a man like me 😅

@@simplicityd8703 I had one yes, didn't last 2 months, back side of the watch fall off first then after couple of weeks battery gone off totally I mean the battery which only last 4 hrs of use when it was brand new. Entire Google electronic products are just a pure garbage, I had experience with Google pixel 7 pro, countless problems. People who says Google pixel phones are the best Android phones I think they just don't have a brain 🧠

@@alexhardy4559 Since I have that problems with pixel watch I got myself Xioami watch S1 and it works like a rocket 🚀 no battery or software problem I been enjoying and it's so useful. Google watches are A to Z a pure garbage 🗑️ waste of money but you like it you use it bro perhaps majority of people on earth doesn't like it and there is a reason why. Enjoy your pixel watch it's okay lol
