Thank you for your fine reports. You master in showing spectacular places in an unspectacular, modest way. Lots of detailed and information. Since I have some walking issues I can see what we may be able to do - and what better not. ; ) Will try to get back to you by mail.

Hi. Thanks for watching and your kind comments. Yes, I do like to try and show the location and make it more about the location, as opposed to me. I’m relatively new to KZbin and as I gain more experience I will keep improving 😊 Overall, yes, countries such as Germany, Switzerland do have the stunning scenery but we loved Vancouver and Vancouver Island. There are just so many spectacular waterfalls, rivers and other places to visit. Also, every single places we visited always had toilets (clean) with no graffiti etc. Just really nice to travel around/across the island. Victoria is also a lovey place to spend a few days. We are flying back to Vancouver next year and doing a trip from Vancouver to Banff and then returning to Vancouver via Whistler. Looking forward to seeing the Canadian Rockies. If you do travel to Vancouver, have a great time 😊

Hello from Germany, just watched your KZbin videos on Vancouver. Thanks again for them. I find them very helpful because the also show some ways to get to interesting spots, as well as commenting them. Of course as Europeans we are rather spoiled with stunning Mountain views like in Austria, Italy, France and Switzerland. So, my wife and I are still asking ourselves if a fairly expensive trip to Vancouver was worth going. Having been to many places in the US and visited mega cities like New York, to add the center area of Vancouver to me seems a bit „unnecessary“. The downtown area also seems not so different to such which we had the privilege to visit before somewhere else. Besides we hear about safety issues in some parts. We surely should skip these. How did you feel there? I understand that Victoria and Vancouver Island and other very nice parks around may be something else. Also the water planes catch my interest. As for the cable car trip up there, fantastic! The only reason not wanting to go to Switzerland instead would be to avoid the incredible crowds of visitors or high prices there, as friends keep telling me who live there. Finally please allow me the question, if you - as a World Traveller - would fly across the Atlantic just to visit Vancouver alone for let’s say ten days without having a specific goal there? To me the surroundings appear to be rather worthwhile than the city itself. Excuse bothering, please.

Hi. I am glad you found my videos helpful. We spent 3 days in Vancouver city and to be honest, we did many of the key things to do such as Stanley Park, Granville Island, Grouse Mountain etc. Personally I feel 10 days may be too long however it would give you flexibility to spread things out and also factor in weather (especially for the likes of Grouse Mountain.) Vancouver Island is great for wildlife, so if you want to go out on a boat to watch bears, whales, sea otters etc, then it’s amazing. The scenery is stunning and highly recommend the sea plane trip to enjoy this from the air. I have many more videos do post that include things like a full day trip on a working boat that stops off at various remote villages you can only reach by boat and drops off supplies. Lots of lovely beaches for a leisurely walk and enjoy some nice sunsets.

@ Wunderful! Thank you so much for your survey on what else to experience!!! We understand. So, safety or feeling threatened by the often mentioned drug problem didn’t really bother you. Such areas seem to be avoidable as a short time visitor, even without driving a car, using taxi, public transportation, Uber etc…?!
