@@sherrys_birds6064 I have Jardine too his name Shugi , he is 6 years old but he doesn't have big orange crown like Leo. He have little orange crown but he looks bigger than Leo.

@@SegevSurfcastingSh Oh wow that's cool! Does he talk? Are you in the US? They are rare here in US. Not many readers here. If you aren't in US are they rare in your country? Our vet said Leo is most likely a girl from small size body and shape of her head. We did not do DNA test so we don't know for sure. We had already guessed a boy before vet visit and named Leo. So yeah ours is most likely a girl. Some people I've talked to that have the Jardine's like yours bigger and not a lot of orange and some I've talked to don't have any orange on head at all and a lot bigger than Leo. I read there are different types (sub species) I've never seen one of the Greater Jardine's (without the orange) in person here in the US only online.

@@sherrys_birds6064 I am from Israel, my Jardine is male, i have done DNA test and yes talk a little bit, like names of the family and basic commands that my wife tell me to do LOL. I guess that Shugi is a Black wing Jardin. His wing is almost totally black. Jardine is pretty rare in Israel but you can find some chicks time to time.

@@SegevSurfcastingSh Wow Israel ? That's awesome. I haven't seen a Black Wing Jardine's Parrot before. Do you post videos of Shugi here on KZbin? I don't know if we have that type here in the US. The only ones I've seen here are the ones with the orange on them like Leo. I guess the Lesser Jardine's. Maybe different names I don't remember! It's so awesome that you're all the way in Israel and see videos of Leo. Its amazing to me. If you do post videos of Shugi let me know I will check them out.
