It's not like we can never go to Disneyland after paying our student loans. We can have some Disney movie nights at home until then." Nah, that's NOT a normal couple right there. "America is such a dystopia. I just can't even afford to live." Usually written by someone on their new $1000 iPhone or $2000 MacBook while they sip their daily $15 Starbucks coffee in their $200 hoodie and $120 designer jeans and casually drop $1500 on a Disney annual pass because "they deserve to treat themselves." EDIT: I used to know a family that was just as irresponsible as these people. Their home was literally being foreclosed on due to lack of payments, and a week before the bank was scheduled to evict them, they left to go on a multiple-thousands-of-dollars cruise because "we need this vacation." They came back with less than 24 hours to clear all their stuff out before their locks were changed. I also know another person who was gifted a perfectly good car for free from their grandparents and promptly sold the car for a few thousand dollars so they could put a down payment on a DIFFERENT car that they wanted, then failed to make the payments on that new car and had it repossessed after a few months. This person also complains constantly about how they can't afford anything... Some people just have absolutely zero financial sense.
