Really, really good. Really. You have told a rather trivial habit in an exciting and atmospheric way. Thumbs up.

Beautifully shot little film! I loved the atmosphere and great storytelling. The C70 is awesome! Also, I’m “team soggy”, and to speed up the process I add steamed milk, especially on cold winter days!😊

Hey there! That is opening some perspectives! Can I ask a question : we 're about to make a feature film. Since we are on a budget, we would take a bmpcc. But now that the C70 has raw, we are doubting. Especially teh c70 comes with IS and Autofocus. Would you ever reconsider to make a fiction movie with the C70? No great blockbuster, just a nice social drama. Thanks for the reply! Nicolaas
@chipcreativeuk2 жыл бұрын
I really love the image out of the BMPCC. I think you get a beautiful filmic look with less work than a lot of other cameras. And I think if I was buying a camera just for narrative work where I have time to storyboard, plan, and spend time on each shot I may have bought the BMPCC 6k. But for me so much of my work is run and gun, business promos, interviews etc, and the auto focus really is helpful for me. The C70 is the perfect camera for 90% of my projects. The Blackmagic would be perfect for the other 10%. If you have the right crew, with a focus puller, you can't really go wrong with the Blackmagic. If I was making a film I'm not sure I'd want to use auto focus anyway, its a definite give away and sometimes looks unnatural. Just to clarify the Canon C70 only has Digital Stabilisation so it crops in slightly, and results are varied, I'm not sure I'd be keen to use it on a film. So if it were me, if I was renting a camera to make a film, I'd probably actually choose the Blackmagic. If I were buying something to use on a variety of projects long-term, I'd choose the C70. Thanks for watching!

I have shot 2 x short films, a heap of music videos and a couple of TVCs on a C70. I can't say anything bad about it apart from the HDMI port being... annoying. In a differing opinion to Chip Creative: Yes, shoot on the C70 for narrative. Enjoy it. Plus those extra stops of Dynamic range... Ohhhh yes.

What media did you use to shot in Raw? :)
@chipcreativeuk7 ай бұрын
Hey Mario, Lexar Professional 1667x 128GB 250MB/S. Worked fine for Raw LT, I haven't tested it with Raw ST. Hope that helps!
@Sunrise0172 жыл бұрын
So good!! What was your maximum ISO in this, and did you bother changing this in post? Looking forward to pt2!
@chipcreativeuk2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I had it at iso 800 c log 2 throughout filming. I think I upped the iso to 1600 on the fridge shot in post, only because it was the last shot of the day and I didn't have any time to light it properly!

aewsome job, did u use wich sd cards to record raw? had some issues?
@chipcreativeuk2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I used the Lexar 1667x 250mb/s card and didn't have any problem filming Raw LT. I haven't tried Raw ST or the highest bitrate xfavc though so can't confirm compatibility with those!

The audio sounds amazing! How did you capture it?
@chipcreativeuk2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Jared! I had so many problems with the audio! Totally messed up capture on the day as it was my first time using the c70 so I messed up the audio recording 🤦♂️ had to rebuild most of it with royalty free stuff and some from a pack called sound ideas 6000.
