"MOMENTS" | A C70 Raw Film

My wife and I spent 3 weeks on the west coast roads. I wanted to challenge myself and create something different. Shot all on tripod with the C70 Raw and ProMist.
Some shots have noise reduction, but mostly straight out of camera with Rec.709 applied.

Hi! Ive worked with the c70 for a while now - but just started shooting in Raw. I am having a hard time with the grade. Are you freehanding or do you use a conversion lut for basic correction? I can't find any tutorials on here and your color looks AMAZING! i always love finding more c70 shooters!

I think rf autofocus is faster for sure but ef still works well. Just need good contrast and it will catch.

Where is the location at 1:59? Beautiful and I just got my c70 a month ago. We RV a lot in california and any particular parks you stayed at that you really enjoyed?

That’s Samuel H Boardman Scenic corridor in Oregon. Dope spot, lots to shoot there too. There’s an rv park not far from it called Beachfront rv in Brookings. We stayed in a bunch of rv parks, they’re all similar, just got to find the ones with full hookups.

Tiffen 1/4 black promist. And just rec 709 conversion lut.

Beautiful video! I just got my C70 a few days ago. Do you add any sharpening to your footage? My images are coming out really soft on faces but I know its user error also it could be this sanddisk memory card I have that's not compatible. Just waiting for my Angelbird v90 to get here.

No sharpening added to these shots. Little hints of saturation here and there. But mostly just rec 709 and some slight exposure adjustments.

From the reviews I've seen on KZbin, the C70 isn't as sharp as the C300 even though it's got the same sensor. Your best bet is to use RF lenses, and add a bit of sharpening in post

Définition et latitude sont les qualités recherchées, ensuite c'est surtout l'aptitude à raconter une histoire, la technique devient secondaire avec les avancées technologiques disponibles chez la plupart des fournisseurs. Les optiques coûtent plus cher que la caméra, c'est surtout pour cette unique raison wue je me tourne vers Nikon.
