Speaking of grandfathers, and some secrets kept from you: Greta Thunberg's great-grandfather turns out to be the inventor of the greenhouse effect and population reduction through eugenics; her father was named after him, Svante Arrhenius; this is the big secret

@Turbo_Tastic

@@craigme2583 if it was public it would ruin their climate tax hoax; notice how all they want to do is stop CO2, which is from breathing and driving cars and promotes plant growth, plants absorb all the extra CO2, we've had tremendous plant growth etc., and man-made climate change has all been proven to be false, the sun controls the weather, as told by 46 IPCC expert scientists who were quoted on saying it is all non-sense. They just want to not have so many people, eugenics, and the rest they want to pay a slave tax for breathing and living. The SAFIRE project just achieved sustainable fusion using plasma 2 days ago, and it will get rid of the need for oil, coal, and nuclear fission, but not a peep from the media. Greta's family and their agenda is like Bill Gates and his father who ran planned parenthood, and Elon Musk's grandfather who was head of the tecnocracy party, it is population "control". Svante Arrhenius also started the Nobel Prize and gave a bunch out to his friends and one to himself.

Elayna-you are a rock star dealing with a baby in a passage like this. I am glad Riley was silent during the worst of the sail. It kept Lenny’s mother from having any additional distress that he would be sure to pick up on. Good call, Riley. Nikki you are to be applauded along with Riley for your fearless sailing skills on getting the Vagabond and it’s precious cargo to Portugal. It was a hell of a ride for all us watching!

As a sailor who navigates the seas, as a husband who navigates life and a relationship, and as a physician who helps many navigate difficult conditions and emotions every day; this episode has me shedding tears. I completely understand how difficult it can be to weigh the decision to share information that too often cannot be changed and likely will make matters worse for knowing. No question it hurts to not tell something to a loved one, but I cannot a imaging better management than doing everything possible to ensure safety, sharing once what has happened has happened and building the trust that you are there to do the best for those depending on you. Thank you for sharing the good, the bad and the difficult. Viva La Vagabonde and her crew!

The little snippet of Elyna right after the reefing adventure is what she should watch when she's anxious. The triumph and thrill of conquering a moment of adversity is the antidote to that anxiety and it's great to be able to see it in that slip of film. Nikki and Greta staring wide-eyed into the camera is one of my favorite moments of the trip. "We released this young woman from the stress and pressure of her global campaign, and created some fun memories with her along with helping her fulfill her mission," all bundled into five seconds of film. Well done.

Having sailed across the North Atlantic myself, I watched with interest how you coped with the sudden gusts that spring up seemingly from nowhere. Niki, wow they could not have done it without you and I shall be following you with some interest. Thank you for helping Greta, people may not like her message, but it I one that needs to be said. You said you would not go to the arctic circle in another video, but if you moor up buy Gretta's town, you could go and have a look by train, or husky or some other environmentally low impact route, just don't discount it entirely. If you are staying round the Biscay/ channel and north sea areas for the summer, I'm sure there are a number of patrons in the UK and northern Europe that would like the chance to shake your hands. Keep doing what you do as you are inspirational and although a lot of us may sail dinghy's or small 20-30 ft boats, your sailing and videos give us the feeling that we have visited places with you. you are our best tour guides. Since platforming radical propagandists seems to be in vogue these days, maybe next time they are in the Pacific they can give Xi Jinping a ride, eh? Oddly enough, I don't ever seem to hear darling little Greta attacking him and his government with even 5% the ferocity with which her handlers tell her to attack nations in the West who have already reduced our emissions to pre-1992 levels. Hi guys, these are the golden years of your life, you are taking full advantage of every opportunity, you've got good health and 'youth' on your side. That is what excites me the most, seeing young people living an adventure and taking other people with them on the journey. Eventually you start to feel like acquaintances, real people who are part of each of our lifes. My husband and I are both 53 with two children from South Africa. We've travelled, scuba dived, sailed and enjoyed a full life. Then we turned 50 and we realised we are stagnating. We were watching your video's back then already and because of you two, we decided to make a drastic change. We packed up and moved from the southern hemisphere to the northern hemisphere and find ourselves in the Netherlands, where another adventure awaits us now. We both feel we have 'youth' on our side again, thank God good health, but most of all, a new lease on life. Never become complacent, live your life like the second 50 years matter as much as the first 50. Life gives you energy, it's electrifying, shine your beacons!

Job well done. As a man a few dozen years older than you, and well traveled, you folks really MUST try to grasp the magnitude of the life moments you are creating. Few things will persevere in your memories until the end of your days. Making and raising a little human or two... the great friendships that develop into a bond closer than family... and of course, THIS trip. Couple this with the Global shift in environmental consciousness and all that entails... on top of the epic challenges and status this journey presented. Job well done. I sincerely do hope you grasp this, and appreciate it, and revel in what you have just done. My hope is that you will hang your hat on this for a suitable period, then, move forward to the next big adventure, as you folks are clearly destined to write your own place in the history books. Job well done. Job well done.

Now almost a year later I rewatched those videos about the crossing of the North Atlantic in november. What impressed me most was something that I thought I observed already the first time I watched, but what came even more to the foreground this time: I felt happy that Greta got more and more relaxed in those days away from the media. When Elayna intervied her on the first day abord one could hear the self controlled way Greta answered the questions. She became more and more relaxed and free in her doing and words during the crossing. Finally with those media boats beside La Vagabonde the self control started to set in again, but way less then in the begining of the crossing. Thank you again for helping Greta to get to Europe again and for giving her this time of breath taking.

What is really awesome about Nikki is not her obvious skills but how she handled all the natural stress and anxiety. She didn't take it out on the people around her but was cheerful and fun to be around while focusing all that stress on attacking the problem(s). What a champion. The entire passage also is the best example of something I have noticed and enjoyed for a couple of years: Riley is a sailor. Seeing the big picture, thinking ahead, doing whatever it takes to get it done. How far removed from that guy five(?) years ago who was hanging the jib upside down and certain that the barometer was draining the battery. It would not only be a joy but a gift to spend any time at all on a passage with either of them.

You guys had an exiting time. The crossing with Greta and before that the fundraising for Australia. The challenge now is to once again be exited about ordinairy things, like walking on a beach. Remember, we the viewers loved watching you during those days also. I for one am looking forward to those relaxing trips again! Happy sailing.

I found your content a few months ago upon suggestion from a friend. I started from the beginning; binge watching as I had time. I’m hooked! I have watched this crossing twice now, and am even more impressed the second time around! I love the team of Riley & Elayna and their upbeat attitudes! It’s the whole reason I watch... OK to be honest the videography is amazing! My husband says it is my earth porn. 😂 But the dynamic between the 2 of you is wonderful. Lenny is an angel! (And a monster as any toddler can be! 😉) Elayna dedicating her time to keeping Lenny safe and happy. Greta is charming. Her relationship with her dad seems fun. He supports her & wants her happy. You all got along so well! Everyone chipped in to make it a success. Adding the accomplished Nikki to the crew was genius! She complemented your normal upbeat outlook, brought her own expertise, gave Riley & Elayna more peace of mind and added her fun, spunky personality to the family. She and Riley meshed attitudes and gelled quickly in adversity. Great series! Have you thought of making a TV special out of the footage you show and some of the outtakes also? Keep the great content coming! ❌⭕️❤️

Thank you Nikki for volunteering to get Greta across safely! Your professionalism, skill and continued humbleness has me in awe of you. Riley was correct in his speech, that 3 years of experience learned was crammed into a few weeks. Nikki, you taught Riley and Elayna to become better sailors, you set the bar and they were incredible! Thankyou LaVegabond for sharing this to the world, I've been following you for years, since the beginning. Again a huge shout out to Nikki Henderson, Professional yachtswoman, been sailing since you were 13 and an incredible feat In 2018, to became the youngest ever skipper to lead a team in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race at the age of 25. Great job guys, you all should be very proud.

I have been following La Vagabond for about a year and really enjoy your story. I care deeply about saving the planet from further human destruction and started following Greta as her story has gathered momentum. When these two parts of my life came together I was gobsmacked. And what a story it has been. What a team, all six of you you, including The Stowaway, did your bit, and what an adventure you all had. You are all family now and I hope you all have many opportunities to share time together, perhaps next time Greta has an ocean to cross in her quest, or just when you all fancy chilling out on the Med for a week or so. Love to you all.

Great respect for Riley here. This video review of the crossing provided good lessons in crisis management. Hats off to Nikki who was an integral part of a successful crossing to deliver Greta and Svante to Europe. Gotta love Elayna's caref or Lenny with that great clip of Elayna at the helm with Lenny on a frontal papoose. Amazing vid. They just get better and better.

This will be a crossing you will never forget. Thank you for sharing the debrief and prep vids, there are so many good lessons here. Success is all about teamwork and execution. You chose a good team from the start with Nikki who is a real legend and you had fantastic helping hands get you ready in a short time. Everybody played their part and had clear roles. Good communication all long the way, setting priorities when the going gets tough and addressing issues in the right sequence. I most of all admired the teamwork which bonded all of you together and the great spirit you had. I have to admit that you guys made the right decision to get help and not do the crossing alone at this time of year with storms all over the place. Greta could not have had a better team around her. I admire all of you!

Followed your progress on Predict Wind. I could only imagine how crazy it must have been until now. I've worked on fishing boats so I knew it must have been a wild ride. The awesome beauty and dangerous power of the sea can not be sufficiently described. It really transforms your perspective once you experience it. I wish I could have been there! P.S.: Reilly, I knew you had to have been dealing with massive anxiety about the safety of your family and everyone on board. You came through with flying colors! Nikki is an epic legend... amazing.

I’ve been following your journey from the beginning and these last few episodes have really touched me. You captured the emotions of the huge journey, you all played an integral part in such an important expedition that will go down in history and to witness the team work between you all but especially Riley and Nikki was incredibly inspiring. Humble, real, epic humans taking on the force of nature whilst supporting good causes and taking care of each other, this is better than any tv or movie you can imagine. Thank you to each one of you for everything you do. I’ll go back to balling my eyes out now 🧡✌🏽

The differens between success and disaster is waferthin to say the least. Crossing the North Atlantic and the Hurricane Alley this time of year with your family, a toddler and passengers onboard, heavely undermanned is just madness but gave us a thrilling adventure to follow. Please don’t do it again. I don’t want anything bad happen to your lovely little family. It woult be nice though to see you during the summer in pleasent weather sailing the mediteranean again. Fair winds with you all.

Guys what an incredible work of art. Somehow somewhere somebody orchestrated so many things coming together which captured the hopes and dreams of so many generations all at once. The Hallmark channel could never have scripted anything so incredibly emotional. It's all about the human heart isn't it? From the patrons offering you their house to Nikki plucking her eyebrows it was just such a gift to the world. I have no idea how you kept the cameras running but thank God you did. God bless you all and thanks again. Onward into 2022.

Thank you for posting this. The arriving brought back memories for me coming back from my first cruise while onboard an aircraft carrier when I was in the US Navy. Boats and small aircraft greeted us 3 hours before we got to our dock at Norfolk. We listen to radios while the DJs dedicated songs to us and gave position reports where we were. I remember standing on deck thinking "Can't this ship go any faster." Then I and others too started to think about being on a 7 1/2 month cruise. Everyone on of the 5,280 crew members said what will always stand out was us at the end of August 1981 pulling in to Fremantle, Western Australia and the getting rides to some outstanding place called PERTH, WA. WHAT I still remember was not only how beautiful WA was/is but the people are the greatest!
