This video is not intended to be a full user manual rundown; it's meant to provide some Condor examples that may inspire you to take the pedal in different directions or give you new ideas of your own. I'm (clearly) not a professional videographer or pedal demonstrater--I'm an independent musician who wants so share my enthusiasm for this very inspiring equipment.

Rob Flax yeah there are a whole lot of nooks and crannies on the Condor! Lotta ways to carve out sonic space for multiple guitar (or instrument) parts in a mix

Thanks Mark! You're right--with a pedal as open-ended and flexible as Condor it's tough to really capture all of the possibilities! Since I'm often using pedals in a studio reamping context, I'm naturally more disposed to manual knob sweeping and ramping, but I did play with controlling FREQ and LPF with expression prior to cutting the demo...as expected, it's great! Can't beat the 0% - 100% response time you get with an expression pedal, and it's great for parking in sweet spots. Cheers!

@@ElliotGKnapp You might like this little doohickey I whipped up using a little PIC that Tom Wiltshire came up with for his Electric Druid brand of one-chip solutions. The intent is to have the little pattern generator sitting on the ground and actuated by one's foot, but because of several technical constraints, I had to put it on the desktop and hit it with my finger after I strummed. But you get the general idea of what it could do plugged into an expression-pedal jack. I'm proud to say that the Condor came about because of a dinner conversation Joel Korte and I had (he gave me production pedal #00001 as a token of gratitude), and the one-shot came about because of an e-mail exchange Tom and I had. Great video! Just a piece of advice be careful when using those "patch cables" at 4:45 with Tonal Recall, they can hurt the jack of your pedals.

Thanks Erick! You're right! The 2-sided male 1/4" plug can be hard on jacks because it's such a rigid connection. I actually only use it for recording videos for the convenience of getting the pedals close together, and agree with your warning--if you're stomping on your pedals, this kind of plug is best avoided!!

This is the only music I've EVER truly liked in a pedal demo. Out of a few hundred. I have a strange urge to say "Bravo-" but I'm not gonna. I heard some BeefHeart and CAN vibes. Now to figure out how to use this dang thing to make some of those sounds.....I'll get back to you in a few years, hopefully guitars will still exist and the internet won't be privatized.
