They also really messed up with how you enter the unstable rift. That process can be streamlined sure, but I was hoping for something a little more friendly to the core gameplay loop so you can have a full and fulfilling match in main map and then before exiting prepare for the unstable rift. It isn't fun rushing around the map trying to find pillars and then rushing to the rift and only focusing on carrying endless self revives. It isn't friendly to the core gameplay loop. It is nice to have objectives all around the map, but none of it benefits the current gameplay loop and instead hinders it.

I have done it 10 times and something always goes wrong, but with 6 it has never worked, many crashes, always something

I'm not even gonna keep doing the rift .l would rather just do a regular game and rack up essence towards the cool down.

Yeah I was one of the one that was saying this new rift would help so much with the game. Having a squad or two out of t3 and cooling down your schematics. The worst part of it, is you’re dead right it not really fun. You’re literally just spamming weapons for 30 min. No teamwork no communication and no strategy (unless you want easy mode and use a scorcher to float around the entire wave until boss spawns to make it even more boring). I had always thought they had said in the early blog that you would be transported to a random previously explored dark aether, meaning at least since they weren’t using a new map (which they should of) at least some variation. Should have been bigger size maps still with the wave based system. Get rid of the annoying search for obelisks and just have a rift. Very poor update. I play with randoms 95% of time so I will go where the majority wants. But I know if I had my choose I’m one of the two first dark aetehrs.

Im done with it already. I can hot the dark aether and get a couple golden plates, aether blades or dog bones instead of just refreshing and getting 1 of each

I haven't done the unstable rift just yet, but I get the feeling that after the first time around, it's not gonna be worth doing again

Got the camo on the first try and I’m good not doing it again. Would have liked to see some classified loot from all 3 DAs in the 5 reward rifts.

They could have done so much more with the Unstable Rift and made it something more fun and worth doing repeatedly. I think it was mentioned before, but reusing the Dark Aether map which already was from MWII to begin with felt kind of cheap? There are so many zombie inspired multiplayer maps they could have used or maybe flashbacks to older and popular zombies maps of the past. Even Vanguard brought back older maps to spice up the experience. It would have been cooler if we had a map pool (zombie multiplayer maps, old throwback maps) and each trip into the rift gave us different maps from the pool per phase. Something to give it some variety. Also, the fact that the meta is explosive weapons and the scorcher is kind of boring to me. I want to use my guns and experiment with different weapons. Having more space to actually run/train zombies would have made the meta more open.

I myself feel kind of let down by Call of Duty, season 3 Reloaded Rift and rewards was a let down and I was not looking forward to this unstable Rift but I figured I'd be skeptical, but it ended up being late let down also. There's times I asked myself why do I play this game come I like it I can't help it. But they really need to step up their content

Also try the rival 9 with the conversion kit its pretty damn good right now. I wouldn't do new rift but any dark eather i had no problems.

I was just on team in the unstable rift we were at level 4 and i got kicked from the game i was mad i had a legendary tool and a pack 3 crystal i started off in the game with nothing

I keep getting struck by lightning in the air waiting for HVT in new rift and insta killed, on top of the lag im getting since 4.5 update. And everyone cheering for BO6 when they cant even fix this one. BO6 is going to be worse because there putting more on your system than their servers so have fun wasting your money on BO6.

Because it's the same every freakin time, it takes to long and everybody is making vids about it.. It's boring to play after a few times and it's boring to see it EVERYWHERE ALL THE TIME!!

Boring because u are forced to have the same loadout as everyone else just to complete it. No weapon variety whatsoever. Can't even do classic training methods either because of the super sprinters.
