1:16 My take on this is that we don’t have control over the environment in a public space. How are we supposed to train our dogs to ignore other dogs if there are no other, strange (unknown) dogs in the environment? I want to train my dog (GSD) to ignore the other dogs (and do it without aversive methods). Your videos have been helpful. I’m still afraid to take her back to public spaces, because she has been breed blamed, despite not biting back (she’s been attacked by 3 small dogs, and one dog her size who punctured her nose and ears).
