I had a trek 7.2 and a trek fx 2 in my locked garage till someone stole them. I now have the new fx 2, only difference from his and mine is he has a 3x8 and mine in a 2x9. Love my Trek bikes.

I just totally rebuilt a FX 7.5 that I found at a garage sale. The only thing still original is the frame. It rides great.

That handlebar & seating position looks identical to my Marlin 6. Maybe it’s better? But I can’t tell….

Found someone selling one locally for 300 usd, on the fence of buying this or a fixie , I would perfer something that can handle some dirt and some gravel what are your opinions on it so far now that it’s been two weeks

Hi there. Yeah i can't really complain to be honest. It's really easy to ride, a good selection of gears. I haven't exactly been doing the tour de france on it, just nipping to the shops etc or going for a bit of a ride into town but so far it hasn't missed a beat and doesn't make any annoying noises. Just a really comfortable, easy to ride bike.
