I've owned this for at least a year before switching to Xiaomi Vacuum Robot 1st gen. I washed the filter multiple times, and/or cleaned it with my air compressor. Sure it looked scrubby after that, but it didn't break or anything.

@@akshayshetty5548 a filter is just that, doesn't relaly impact the performance of the duster unless it's so clogged that air cannot get through anymore... in my case, until I sold it, I still noticed the same amount of dust accumulating on the filter. Incidentally, even if the Xiaomi Gen1 is a technologically kick-ass robot, the collecting box and filter of the ilife were way better in my opinion.

Your video helped me a lot. New to ilife robots. Took the dust bin apart without paying attention and was not sure how to reinstall the hepa filter. After watching your video, I realized the white tag on the hepa filter must face the intake side or micro dust gets blown all over the house. The directions are not clear on this important fact.

this is a very bad guide. Hepa filters traps very fine-dust and other micro substance in it, by "tapping" all the microns just flew all over the room and u're inhaling it btw (unless u're using a heavy duty mask). Then u have to turn on the purifer/vacuum/cleaning robot again, it goes back to the same filter u just tapped out. really what's the point of doing that

"You can tap out the dirt of the filter or vacum clean it.".... Thats 1 phrase containing all you say in 3 minutes.. Dont make a short story long bro! Time is money!

*I run the m6 daily, and my floors look awesome🌼 **allabout.wiki/ILIFE-Robotic** I wet mop 2 days and dry sweep the rest of the days. When I first got it, I used the included disposable pads. I didn't like them--the dry pad has no depth so if it picks up a chunk of something, like dry cat food, then it pushes it around or drags it around the floor. The wet pad wasn't very absorbent so left streaks and wheel marks.*

Why not wash it? Manual recommend it every 15-30 days..

I would not recommend it because it is made from paper, I also asked GearBest about this and they said the same thing, don't wash it.

Arkadiusz Rucki I think you still can, just make sure to dry it thoroughly and try not to wash it again :)
