@@sherei9530 Girls sometimes get way more sensitive with Dad. Inside at the counter she likely didn’t show or have any hurt or disappointment since mom did reason that she never drinks it and they would get her something else. She seemed fine until he said something about her not having one. Sometimes when Dad mentions something… they suddenly get more emotional about it than before. This type is thing has happened with my 4yo daughter a few times. For instance she could get a scrape at the playground with me and her brothers and cry briefly or not cry at all and continue playing. Two to several hours later she could be telling Dada about her day at bedtime and when he shows concern, she suddenly bursts into tears that weren’t there before during the actual incident or twice as much tears as before (if there were any). 😅 Still… I love the way he handled it.

That’s sweet calling her baby girl. I’m 65 now and my mom passed away May of ‘23 and she lived to be 95. Up until the day she passed away she always called me “my baby.” She used to ask me if it bothered me and I always told her no. After all I am the baby of the family and if it made her happy, then so was I. I now miss hearing her voice saying that 😢.
