One of my Favs!! One of the best things about this series is that everyone makes a good point. Ray is right to think why would someone he's never met hates him, while Robert is EVEN more right that it is silly for everyone to help out Ray when he has the smallest of problems. I mean Ray was actually more bothered that a stranger hated him than his own brother.

Someone should have told Ray that there were 6.3 billion people on Planet Earth at the time and it’d be farfetched that not one person hated or disliked him on the planet. This is the problem when kids are coddled and wrapped in cotton wool all the time. Ray’s mother treated him like he was special and that everyone who met him would love him. The reality is that we all have different personalities and there are bound to be people who do not jive with each other and who rub each other the wrong way. It builds character to realise that you shouldn’t care what other people think about you (especially strangers).

Ray is living in a dream world where he nobody has a reason to dislike him the truth is that he's a egocentric narcissist, who dosen't care about anything else than himself and his passion's what Ray want is all that matters, just like Doug from king of queens and Alan from two and a half men but that's the highlight's of these shows, ELR wouldn't have been that funny without Ray KOQ without Doug and TAAHM without Alan, all three shows needed the annoying douchebag main character to function.
