To be fair, even in the context of the show we have seen Lucifer tempt people with their deepest, darkest desires and encouraging them to act on them. Effectively setting them on the path to *probably* go to Hell. Yes, he doesn't *make* anyone do anything they don't want, but egging on someone to do something reckless, especially when you are both aware of the potential consequences, makes you partially responsible for their fate. So it makes sense that, from a relative outsider's perspective like Chloe and Kinley, it really does look like Lucifer is playing with human lives like toys.

The whole thing with hell in the show tho is all about guilt and if u feel guilty about something u go to hell and lucifer helping them act on their desires wont cause any guilt because its what they wanted deep down

but people are still responsible for their own actions, he asks what their desires are, but that doesn't mean they have to act on them. he's isn't forcing anyone to do anything, so I get what you're saying, but Idk if I would entirely agree with it, especially in the context of the show.

​@@jakobyoung5375 the guilt thing is weird. I know that's how they explain it but if that's how it worked, Heaven would be filled with psychopaths. We know that can't be the case because Malcolm was dragged to Hell kicking and screaming and he was a cold-blooded murderer who only cared about himself. I think its more accurate to say 'guilt' in the sense that you *know you did something terrible to someone else* regardless if its for selfish reasons or not. Whether you actually *feel* guilty just helps determine your Hell loop.

I hate this storyline with Chloe. She knows Lucifer She has listened to him for years talk about how he was the devil and the world had the wrong idea about him Why would she ask if he liked being king of hell? He has spent years telling her the answer to that.

I'm sure you would have too have a good think and really double check aswell. The freakin Devil dude, the embodiment of evil, resposible for all terrible things that ever happened, demons, everything. It would scare anyone. It would scare you despite however long you knew eachother. I think it made sense, and she did get over it very quickly. What I didn't enjoy was the priest turning it around on Chloe after she made her decision and Eve getting introduced as a love interest instead.

Season 4 is my least favourite. It's not terrible, but it just feels off. There's something about the writing and the characters that isn't how it should be... But it has a lot of good too, like a new character that I really like, still some great comedy and good moments... Just overall it's not as good as the others.

You can't think like that. She just found out he was the actual devil, which is the same devil we think of. The embodiment of evil. People do stupid things when they are scared or confused. We as an audiance know who Lucifer truly is, but to chloe, it made sense for her to be uncertain. I mean really think about it, the freakin devil, even thinking of calling on the devil makes most of us get the chills because it's creepy af. She did get over it in a very short time after actually talking to him. I think that is what really shows that she trusts him.
