I started dating my roommate and we got so close, we dated almost a year, I really fell in love but I believe that living together during the honeymoon phase made him bored or feel like there’s more in life other than me. We ended things and broke my heart. I felt so broken but I just felt like I need to move on if a person doesn’t love me then I need to accept it, even though it’s painful. I started to move on and I’m “dating” a new even though it’s not official, it’s been a few weeks with him. I’m still living with my ex now that we are back to just being roommates we still have to be around each other until the lease on our apartment is over. Lately my ex is distant, but I’m more distant. I’ve been focusing on my new romance but mainly focused on myself and my self esteem.
