This is a very special release, I've never done something like it. I realized that my remixes can be quite popular sometimes and I don't like o profit of it, that's why they're all for free. If I can make viral remixes and help my community at the same time, so be it. astrophysicsbrazil.bandcamp.com/album/someday-ill-see-you-again

It’s hard to explain to the older generations, but Minecraft really did have a huge impact growing up. It was carefree and a place where being creative and expressive was cool. And even as every other game or trend faded away Minecraft was always there, and was even growing in features. We’d always end up coming back to it. We still do. And this album’s making me wanna call up the lads and start again.

My partners kids were introduced to minecraft a while ago and they absolutely love it. They play it on PC and console. Even I thought it was just a basic hype game back in the time, as it came out when I was teenager. But now, as I have also played it a bit again, it really has some super nice aspects.

The amount of impact this little block game had on the childhood of my generation cannot be understated. I picked the game back up in 2019 and it’s been one of the best choices I’ve ever done. Started fresh on a new account, with a skin I made myself, and tried to put myself back together. This is incredible, man. All the music you make, remix or not, is incredible. Thank you for everything.

There's no way to quantify how much of an impact this game had on our generation. This little block game collectively shaped our childhoods, to the point where we all share a very specific but universally experienced emotion, only brought out by works like this.

October 15, 2012 was a day that probably changed my life. I, with the help of my dad, bought minecraft on PC after hearing the other boys talking about it at my cub scout troop meeting. Just the other day I went to their Eagle Scout award ceremony. Since then I have built and blown up so much and met so many people because of the game. The first few servers I have been on were Zitcraft (which I cant find any evidence of anymore despite it being a pretty popular server for the time), OC.TC, The Hive, MCPVP and a small community server called GeekyServers. All are gone now, and not a day passes I don't get reminded of them. I will not forget Sweden until the day I die. To all the people I have played with over the years, I hope you miss the old days just as much as I do. Someday i'll see you all again.

Minecraft really hit different back in the day. You get home from school, turn on your Xbox 360, and load Minecraft. You message your friends and send them an invite, they aren't home yet. You walk around your world, looking at all of the neat little builds you've made, the failed mob farm, the first house you made, just a small little hut made of dirt and wood. Then your friends start joining, you gear up and head to the stronghold, today's the day, you'll beat the Ender Dragon. And you're doing it with your friends.

Living Mice is the pinnacle of experiencing Minecraft. The good old Alpha and Beta memories, with so few blocks and limited environment but even the most stupidly simple combination of water, stone, and grass blocks would enthrall you into the world. Where most others would see a jumble of low res cubes, I saw a cliffside pond in the woods.

It's funny. Minecraft music isn't nostalgic for me because I was kinda too old to really be into it when it came out and I never have got into it. But I've been exposed to it a lot because I hang around with a lot of people younger than me (it just happens, when you don't have kids yourself) so to me, Minecraft music sounds like friendship.

This game's the reason I know everyone I do today. It got me into programming (which is now my career), it got me into my hobbies like game design and animation. I met so many friends years and years ago through this little block game. So many countless hours, days, weeks spent playing this game. It still feels like home 11 years later loading up Java edition. It's truly saddening to see what Microsoft has done to the game, but I know it wouldn't have become what it is today without their cash flow.
