As soon as i saw the buildup for "master of baits" i knew that this translation is on another level! It keeps you guessing just like it was in the original language, on top of having that sudden 180° when you hear the clarification. You kept the ""suspense"" of the original while changing the payoff for a localized version. Some professional translators have hard time pulling this stuff off but here it sounds so fluid and in-tone with the conversation! I have hard time describing just how rare it is to see stuff like this in general, even including film and game translations. Just know that i absolutely love you, whoever you are!

The translator not only got the denotation correct in the beginning, but also pay attention to the connotation and context of the situation and adjust the translation accordingly as well. Able to determine both at the same time is serious skill. 餌(esa) = literally means "bait". It is a 1-to-1 translation. But then Niu went a little direct and said おかず(okazu) which literally means side dish, but it extends to also mean whatever content people consume "on the side" while fapping. There's no equal 1-to-1 translation for Okazu (probably fapping material), but add "master of" will make majority of people understands. The switch from 1-to-1 translation to a pun that is equally surprising revelation in Japanese is very clever. I am kind of dissecting the frog here, but seeing a great translation is like seeing someone cook up a great meal, just makes me want to do a chef's kiss.
