Yo Kenny just some advice that should help your game out a ton. When its its either raining or rained the day before you golf the greens are always going to play slower then normal. If its hot and dry for multiples days in a row it will be the exact opposite and the greens will play super fast. Last piece of advice and this is something that just works for me a bunch is to not tee up your short game irons (7 sometimes, 8, 9, PW). Teeing them up is going to add a bunch of extra loft to the shot and reduce your distance on your shot because you are hitting higher up on the face of the club. Love the content and love seeing you getting into one of the most addictive sports out there.

I'm a scratch golfer and live about an hour away from there. I'd love to join you for a round! I think I could help....Just as a heads up, the striped pole is 150 yards away from the center of the green(the pin isn't always in the center though), and you are getting dangerously close to the greens and tee boxes with that cart. Some superintendents would have your ass for that!! Don't need you out there throwing hands with some course marshal over shit they never tell new players! They just expect you to know that. I got screamed at my first round ever by some old dude for rolling my cart too close to the green.

Kenny, I love your takeaway of the club but i feel like you are doing a classic move that most golfers come across which is called "humping the ball", your hips are getting in the way of your arms and it makes you swing the club straight down. You basically have to hit the ball perfect for it to do what you want. BTW, you're are significantly better than I was after 2-3 years of golfing so I'm pretty sure you are onto something and I would be wary of getting lessons from anyone because a lot of people selling lessons just show you how they hit it, which does not work for everyone. Keep the 60 degree, but you need tons of practice because it is the club that requires the most finesse in the bag.
