I have a cooking video idea for you: You know the letter bricks you used in the «ill buy whatever you can spell challenge»? Well, you spin the mysterywheel to see how many of those letter you Get to pick, then you pick so many bricks. And if you Get for example 6 bricks you pick 6, and let me say its for example E, T, S, O, F and M. (Idea by Kaja Persen) Then you can only buy cooking stuff that starts with thoose letters. And you have to buy every single letter like; E for eggs, T for Tim tams, S for sugar, O for olives, F for Flour, M for Milk. And then make a meal/dessert/drink out of the stuff you got.And if you dont buy every single of the letters you got, you will be ELIMINATED. If you dont want to be eliminated, and cant come up with any good food that starts with that letter, you can by a bad food in that letter, but then Gamerdad might not choose you as the winner!

I would definitely recommend trying to keep them in the house, they most likely aren't used to the outside coming from a pet store! They are very timid but smart, there's a chance that they let themselves out and figured out how to break out. You could also try getting a pin and let them have outside time throughout the day, but I would definitely recommend being outside with them to have good supervision. I love how much you all care for the little guys and how attentive Naz is❤️

I love how Sockie was so calm about it all. Guinea pigs can die of fright but I’m glad you got them. This is the second time they almost got lost. I reckon that the slips in the cage are just to big and they slipped through. Maybe keep them inside more often but still give them a spacious cage and on,y bring them outside once in a while. Remember, they are domestic animals, they are meant to be inside.

I've had guinea pigs all my life, my last guinea pigs lived for 9 years, i always would take them out of their cage to eat grass and rome around in between their igloos. This actually helped them with their mental and physical health. They weren't becoming over weight and they were finding new places to adventure out too. I would recommend to have a big cage, almost like a house. which would be off the ground. If your guinea pigs always hide away from you thats a sign that they're not in the right environment. My guinea pigs would often run into a big bush near where i would put them out. But i noticed if you have something that can cover them and act like protection for them then they wont usually run off and hide in other places.

You can but they cant regulate their body temperature, they can over heat or get too cold. If you do make sure the weather isn’t too hot nor cold. Also make sure your grass isn’t sprayed with anything that could be harmful for them. They are also prey animals and there can be dangerous predators out there that could want to eat them or poisonous insects. It’s better to keep them inside so u can have a closer eye on them but your can take them outside as you please but not in any extreme weather.

This is a sign that they need to go back inside and they also need a bigger cage another animal could have let them out and if they got out again they could have died. Love y’all but I think you should reconsider some things, I had guinea pigs too and I recommend a diy CNC grid cage :) Edit - I also noticed the guinea pigs chewing the plastic and that could be a sign of boredom or insufficient diet. Please make sure to give the guinea pigs toys of some sort as well as guinea pigs can get bored just like humans, there are a ton of diys you can come up with! And PLEASE make sure you are feeding them enough, I’m not sure what you guys feed them and it could be fine but, guinea pigs must have Timothy hay at almost all times since it is 80% of their diet, and they are constantly chewing the grind down their teeth (being why they chewed the plastic, some chew it regardless if they have hay, and if they keep chewing it they can die to stomach problems) plus guinea pigs are or should be constantly pooping as this is healthy for them. 1 cup of vegetables should be given to them every day weather that’s lettuce, peppers, carrots, what ever really just look it up to make sure it’s okay for them. And occasionally fruits, because they are so sweet I recommend once a week. And again they need to go inside and have a decent size cage, Lastly and most importantly PLEASE do you RESEARCH before getting anyyy pet! It’s very important, I bet people reasearch before getting a dog, why not guinea pigs? They don’t belong in hamster size cages people 😭

@@daph246 Guineas pigs naturally live in the wild where they Roam free, but over the years guinea pigs have started to depend on humans since we have started to take care of them as pets. Meaning if they were to escape they wouldn’t be able to live long on their own. Not to mention Australia has a lot of animals who would eat or injure them, or get ran over. They can do what they want but I was just trying to save them from hardship for the guinea pigs and Naz.

if this happens again, when you have the tube you can just pick it up. as a person with 5 guinea pigs, you don't have to necessarily block the entrances, just as soon as the guinea pig goes in the tube you can pick them up! and also, i think naz's room was a good place to have the guinea pigs since you can control the temperature in there, and it's safer. but, i'm happy you found them!!

Also they love kale so use that too. Also dont get a glass hutch as this can confuse them. I also would say to keep it in the back, right next to your house as thats the safest option. Please read your comments u should of done more research before getting them. Also DO NOT BATHE THEM IN WATER they could easily die from that i recommend dry shampoo(pet friendly ofc).also they can die of fright and dont have much trust in you at all! They are rlly scared but its ok as they are young just try and hold them alot in a quite place as Biggy kept scaring them, which isnt a good stratgey at all! I hope this helps :))

Vet Assistant here: If your guinea pigs are not on flea/mite prevention, it would be best to get them on one since you are keeping them outside if they are not already on one. Also, if possible see if you can buy a padlock and lock whatever doors are easy to open so someone can't just open the doors...though they could still lift the cage up and the gpigs could still escape from the open area on the bottom if it's not fully enclosed. It may be more beneficial to buy a hutch or have a slightly larger enclosed enclosure surrounding your main enclosure that can be locked so strangers cannot let your gpigs out. Not sure what type of enclosure set up you all have. If you're comfortable with posting an image of it, we may be able to give you better advice on how to secure it.

hey, quick few tips since i personally own 2 guinea pigs. Don't leave them outside to live like that because they are domestic animals and even though they are in a cage, certain things are still a threat to them and will freak them out, in which can be fatal. I also recommend getting a bigger cage especially since there is 2 of them. One last thing, don't feed them ice lettuce. Well, you can but it gives them bad stomach aches and isn't so good.

Guinea pigs are 'prey animals' -that means that they (like rats, rabbits and all other animals that are food for predators) automatically run. It is instinct, in the same way that horses and deer (also prey animals) will run. No matter how tame these animals are instinct will tell them to run. It's the same reason that guinea pigs will run into small spaces or under things -instinct is telling them they are safer there.
@euneiros
@euneiros 3 жыл бұрын
I take my rabbit out on my balcony sometimes so she can run around and she comes to me when I call her but every time I try to pick her up she runs away!!! It's a normal instinct for her cuz prey animals don't like being caught or lifted up. You have to understand that rodents are not like cats or dogs and you shouldn't expect them to react like that... I don't agree with the nns handling this situation but this behaviour is very normal in guinea pigs and it doesn't mean that they are being mistreated

those poor guinea pigs. this has happened twice and you guys don’t seem to know how to be responsible with them. when you were catching you were very loud and moved around a lot which scared them. also, i understand that someone knocked the pen over, but they probably should not have been outside with our supervision in the first place because they could get too hot etc. no hate just constructive criticism.
